Like lions, some of these folks attack each other.

To all the angry folks: why do you feel the need to be so angry instead of letting folks who are dumb, misguided, idiotic, bored, etc. be? Why not just ignore people who don't think like you?

he says if god wuz real and perfect then y didnt he cre8 a perfect world, and y there is starving kids and familys in Africa. I mean my friend is athiest and my other friends are really religous, and then again i have my bro and my bf who r agnostic. I dont know wut to think about god. I feel bad for doubting him :( but i also feel like hes forsaken me :(

I ask this because:

A) This response implies that I haven't read the Bible; or I have, I've just not done a very good job of it. So if I have read the Bible and I do have questions, am I not supposed to seek the guidance of others?

B) If I don't understand what I have read, does that just make me stupid? Is the Bible so simple, with all of its metaphors and parables, that anyone should clearly understand it?

C) Since I am a teacher, should I just tell a student "Try reading the book. The answer is in there." in response to a question regarding the readings/subject? (And if you have children, what would you do if I said just that?)

D) If all the answers regarding God are in the Bible, why is there such a person as a theologian? Aren't they rather unnecessary, if all of us can figure out the answers for ourselves?

Sorry if this appears to be ranting. I just find that such answers are not really answers at all, or if they are then they provide very little help.

I’m not saying all people, but why are some people so against bisexuality? I’m not bi, I’m a lesbian, for the record, but I don’t share the same view many other people share about bisexuality.
For starters, bi people are no more or less promiscuous than straight or gay people. So when some people say “You’re sleeping with every one they ever slept with”, well, isn’t that kinda true for everybody?
I especially know a lot of people who say “Bi people can’t love, and are more likely to cheat/leave for another man/woman”
I’m sorry if I’m the only one who doesn’t buy that. I feel each person is who they are, and if somebody is going to cheat, they’re going to do it regardless if they’re gay, straight, bi-with a man or a woman.

It disturbs ME to see it once the child is past a certain age. I do think it borders on incest or abuse after awhile. At a past job, I walked into the bathroom where my co-worker was breastfeeding her son. I was horrified, but I covered my reaction and asked gently, "How old is your son?" The boy stopped sucking, looked at me and said, "I'm six!", and went back to it. If they can walk up to their "meal" and just stand their to receive it, something's wrong. Especially if they already have all of their childhood teeth and are in school.
NOTE : IF YOU LIVE IN 3RD WORLD COUNTRY THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE YOU.......................MOTHERS HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO BREASTFEED CASE THERE IS NO OTHER FOOD.

For me i would say scientologist. because they get my family through the mail. maybe twice a month we get something from these people.

When we moved a couple of years ago the best part was that we stopped getting mail from them. but then they found us. we don't even know how they got our address.

Only once in my life have i ever had a JW come knock at my door. at least the Mormons (at least that what i think they are) who have a booth at school, never bother people who are not interested.


P.S. I'm atheist, my brother is catholic, and i would call my mom a non church going non denominational christian.

In a land of opportunity, why are so many of us content to just settle for our boring 9-5 jobs, fast food, and cheap living? Why don't more people just go out and invent things? This isn't for me...I strongly believe in the bible but my friend is batteling facts and miracles of God and she doesn't know which to choose. So I don't know if she can just mix the two. I don't know if it can fully work.
