This isn't for me...I strongly believe in the bible but my friend is batteling facts and miracles of God and she doesn't know which to choose. So I don't know if she can just mix the two. I don't know if it can fully work.

I would recommend exploring this website. It has, by far, the most compelling evidence of a young earth.

Yes, science and Christianity is fully compatible. In fact, the science that supports what the Bible says is the strongest part of science with the most evidence for it. A 'young' earth, a flood on earth that happened around the time Noah was said to have been living, skin tissue being found in dinosaur bones, showing that the bones absolutely can't be more than, I think 30000 years old, it's not possible...

Yes, science and Christianity work very well together.

It is possible to mix religion (including Christianity) and science only if you allow yourself to limit the realm of religion. Science provides no solution to the meaning of life, yet many people find that quest the chief dilemma in their lives. Here religion has an uncontested role, and dogma when it comes to our raison d'etre can provide both guidance and comfort to humanity.

The problem arises when religion loses sight of its essential function. If religious leaders feel somehow threatened that, if their faith has no basis at the molecular level then it is false, then out of fear they repeatedly try to justify their belief over and above reasoned scientific inquiry.

This is truly sad, because this simply is an the effort to justify either religion, the belief in God, or the creation of meaning in life. And such a focus forces the believer to abandon the highest and best function of the spiritual quest. Most religions have the capacity to help followers gain insight into the ways to live more fully, to avoid despair, and to embrace growth. But once they allow themselves to take on science, they jump on the scales of evidence, and with its experimental methodology, science will always come out ahead.

Science should be pure. Christianity should be pure. Unfortunately both are tainted with humanity. They should mix without problem, but since both have impurities in them, it spoils the salad. There are literally hundreds of factions of Christianity that disagree with each other. this can not be-and yet be right. Science is filled with pseudo-science. We can not be an evolved creature, and then not be evolved at the same time. Both Christianity and science have been corrupted. If we could clean them up-we would not have a problem between them. I am not saying that evolution and Christianity should mix-no, one should erase the other.

Is the God of creations a god of magic? Or is he the Creator of science also? Science is what God used to create. God the father of science. Miracles are unexplainable to man because man is unwilling to believe what he can't understand and has to come up with names to put on it. Magic?????

The Bible doesn't dispute science only man does that. So why can't you have both? The have to exist together, or nothing exsit at all.

"Is there a way to mix Christianity and Science?"

Sure there is. Science supports creationism, just as much as it does anything else. Does science explain it all, not by any means. But science can't fully explain anything. It just gives us bits and pieces of information.
There's nothing wrong with science, it's very fascinating.

There is a group of people that theological science is their belief. God created the "Big Bang" to set everything in motion, which then sets off evolution and here were are. They are also strong believers in free will that allows people to make their own decisions and are only influenced by their surroundings(or yahoo answers hehe)

Science is the study of God's creation. There shouldn't be any problem at all. Science just hasn't figured everything out yet.

THere's no problem provided that science does not try to lie to make truth. There's lots of really good science in the world!

of course you can mix the two .. you have a brain , let it work
take what makes sense to you , throw out all that doesn't
if you find a scientific fact that goes against something you are taught then study it .. ask questions from those who can answer in your church
