I've always been interested in the Japanese culture and language ever since I started reading manga years back. Even though I have less than half a summer left before school, I really want to do something significant and start learning it. I don't have access to a local class or such though, so I'm pretty much going to have to learn it myself.

And that is why I'm asking what's the best way to start teaching myself the language since I'll be doing it all. For some background info, I have a bunch of Naruto episodes(Japanese show) subtitled and have picked up on various words and such, mostly from the show and its manga. I'm willing to work hard for this and keep at it, so you can be thorough in your recommendations.

Take for example the Ten Commandments. Technically, bearing false witness against someone can be equated to murder in that any violation of the Ten Commandments warrants eternal damnation. We pervert our sense of right or wrong by rationalization and relativism.

Do you minimalize some of the Ten Commandments while condemning someone else for violating a Commandment? Or, do you try to equate what God put as the Ten Commandments as morally the same as murder? Please explain.

My brother married a girl who is an evolutionist even tho Jesus was a part of our lifes growing up. We were informed by him that he also is an evolutionist. I am saved myself. I don't believe these biblical myths to be anywhere near true, but I was wondering if all of you Christians actually believe this?

Lilith was cast out of Eden for NOT LETTING ADAM CONTROL HER.

If this is true, I believe she had every right as her own person! You actually think men are better than woman and that females should be meek and tame to their male 'masters'? That Lilith was evil because she wouldn't let another human being take control of her? If that's evil than there sure are a lot of evil women in the world today. Hell, you even believe Eve was just some stupid naive broad that didn't understand and ruined it for everyone. So all women are stupid, naive and evil by default or something?
I'm not a feminist but I do believe in equal treatment, no more no less.

So please, explain yourselves.

I mean obviously if I am running through the pits of hell forever and ever, I don't want to wear six inch heals. So, I was dating this girl for about two months. But then she started looking and acting like a guy( which is a huge turn-off to me). Also, she started wanting to know my every move and what I was doing every minute of the day. If I couldn't spend anytime with her,she'd get mad. If my phone was turned off because I was at work or the library,she'd get mad. So, I broke up with her and we agreed to be friends,but she keeps acting like we're girlfriends. Adam and Eve had children who in turn had their own...Everyone on Noah's Ark (his son's and thier wives) made babies with each other, whom were thier own blood, and ended up repopulating the whole planet...so how does the church view incest in these sinerios, and how do these differ from cases of incest today?
