against my wishes. Is there any way to undo a baptism? As I don;t believe that a mythical man in the sky is the way to salvation. I would prefer to give them a clean slate, so they don;t go thru life knowing themselves as sinners no matter what.

This would mean on a night out single men would not waste time chatting them up and buying them drinks. Seems fair as wedding rings come off too easily.

A recent survey says that the average teenage christian has prayed that prayer asking for salvation nine times on average over a seven year period. What is it about contemporary Christianity that causes so many to doubt their salvation experience and repeat it so many times?

I had a big fight with his sister and his mother who have been nothing but a pain to me since i married him, so i finnally decided to tell them off,coz all they did was disrespect me, talk sarcastically to me,and say anything that will obviously hurt my feelings....
as a result his sister threatened me that "i will pay and regret with my life for telling her and her mother off".....
well my husband says its my problem and he doesnt want to be involved with that.

We love to share God through Christ with everyone on Yahoo:Answers. When answering questions, remember to adhere to II Timothy 2:23-26:

Have nothing to do with foolish, ignorant controversies; you know that they breed quarrels. And the Lord's servant must not be quarrelsome but kind to everyone, able to teach, patiently enduring evil, correcting his opponents with gentleness. God may perhaps grant them repentance leading to a knowledge of the truth, and they may escape from the snare of the devil, after being captured by him to do his will.

Remember:
• Not Quarrelsome
• Kind to everyone
• Able to teach
• Patient in enduring evil
• Correcting others gently

Let God grant repentance, which will lead others to a knowledge of the truth.

Agree?

I have a cousin who has gone full blown evangelical-like Christian. Everytime I see him I hear about how the "lord this" and "lord that" and I guess I have just lost all respect for him. I used to feel that he was an intelligent person but now I realize that he is obviously mentally inferior and I am embarassed to even be seen around him. Should I just be done with him or is it possible for his senses to return and he will dump this Christian bull-chit?

I prefer black hi-top Chuck Taylors. Beautiful shoes. A work of art! To me, Nikes are uncomfortable and have no class. Chucks, theyve been around longer than Nikes. Since 1923. Nikes have only been around for like 40 years. Chucks were the first Basketball shoes.

I know most if not all of the people on answers won't have government acess to things that go on in Area 51 or other places like that, but I've been curious and afraid of aliens for a long time and I'm sure that they exist somewhere I was just wondering about other peoples beliefs surrounding aliens and maybe any personal experiences with any?

Its not a joke question either, I just want to know what others think.

That approach NOT being that the Bible is inspired, inerrant, infallable and authoritative. As long as the Bible is not considered a special book from God above all others and as long as it is not preached to society in general all is ok. They want Christians to be sweet and read their little fantasy book in there cozy little reading room at home and cuddle in its precious message as they personally see it and that it where it must stay.

Juliet from "Romeo and Juliet" took a poison made from nightshade that fooled Romeo into thinking he was dead. What if Jesus took the same poison and fooled everyone he was dead? What if there was no spear? Since a crucifixtion does not hit any vital areas, you could survive.

I am not religious but I have heard about going to a church and lighting a candle for someone. I have a friend who is going through some real tough emotional issues right now and I have a very strong pull to light a candle for this person. But I'm not sure why because I know nothing about it. What does it stand for? How do I do it? Is this available in all catholic churches? Thanks.
