Juliet from "Romeo and Juliet" took a poison made from nightshade that fooled Romeo into thinking he was dead. What if Jesus took the same poison and fooled everyone he was dead? What if there was no spear? Since a crucifixtion does not hit any vital areas, you could survive.

None of us were there, so some answers you get won't make sense.

I am impressed with your analytical ability, though. It's best to ask questions as you listen to stories or read them, because if they don't make sense ultimately, you can confidently discard them as fables.

Keep thinking!

Considering that Romeo and Juliet is fake and the poison was fake, made up by shakespeare, and that God is real made up by no one. Use common sense. There was no fake poison. Why do people have to come up with nonsense questions like this to try to disprove God. It's pretty pethetic.

How do we know Jesus really died? scientifically, His body was a such a lost of blood that it is recorded that he was almost dead before he got to the cross because he indured such a heavy beating. after almost bleeding to death, he was hug on a cross for endless hours. he was certainly dead. the soldiers of that time made absolutly sure, even going so far as to break the legs of those that were being crucified so that they would died.
But why did Jesus die?

The Bible says that when we died we will face God on Judgement day and give an account of every thought word and deed. the ten Commandments will be God's standard, so lets look at a few to see how you will do on judgement day.

Have you ever lied (even once--fibs, white lies, etc.)? Ever stolen (anything--the value is irrelevant)? Jesus said, "Whoever looks upon a woman to lust after her, has committed adultery already with her in his heart." Have you ever looked with lust? If you have said "Yes" to these three questions, by your own admission, you are a lying, thieving, adulterer at heart; and we’ve only looked at three of the Ten Commandments.
What a shock! Nothing you’ve ever done is hid from His holy eyes. Will you be innocent or guilty on the Day of Judgment? Listen to your conscience. You know that you will be guilty, and the Bible says that if God Judges us according to our sins we could end up in Hell. That’s not God’s will. He provided a way for you and I to be forgiven.
He sent His Son to take our punishment: "God commended His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." He was bruised for our iniquities. Jesus then rose from the dead and defeated death.
Your own so-called “goodness” can’t get you into heaven any more than mine could. Jesus is the only way to Heaven. He is the "Door," the only "mediator." There is salvation in no other name, so pray something like this: "Dear God, I repent of all of my sins (confess them). This day I put my trust in Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. Please forgive me and grant me your gift of everlasting life. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen."

Your forgetting about the 40 lashes, crown of thorns, blood loss from all that and that the fact that the spear punctured his heart...

Oh and BTW Nora22000... just because something doesn't make sense doesn't mean it can be written off as a fable... how gravity works doesn't make sense but that's not much of a fable now is it...

That would mean he was a liar.
Your question is a tautology- why is the sky blue- it reflects the ocean- why is the ocean blue- it reflects the sky.

The Apostles would not have died for a liar- and all but John were killed for their beliefs in Jesus. And do not forget, Christianity has flourished for 2000 years.
And would you die for a lie?
