against my wishes. Is there any way to undo a baptism? As I don;t believe that a mythical man in the sky is the way to salvation. I would prefer to give them a clean slate, so they don;t go thru life knowing themselves as sinners no matter what.

my children attend church with hteir grandparents and go to a jewish school, so they are exposed to different faiths, and they are always encouraged to make up their own mind.

Why don't you try and introduce them to other faiths & beliefs then let them decide when they're old enough?? Trying to force ANY beliefs is wrong. Let them decide.........

Children need to be guided and whether or not you are a believer it cannot be denied that the teachings of The Bible are a good basis on which to lead your life, I feel if your children are taught the rights and wrongs as written in the scriptures that they will grow into selfless, responsible, loving adults. At the end of the day the children will decide the relgion, if any that they may wish to follow. At least you will be happy in the knowledge that they have been given the best directions on which road to follow. Incidentally I am unsure as to whether a baptism can be undone. To be quite candid I think you must be a weak and false character to have allowed the baptism to have taken place against your wishes.

If they are young enough, don't tell them- at least not until they are old enough to be interested in their own spiritual discovery. If they are more aware of their baptism you should explain, objectively, why Christians want to be baptized as well as other religions that practice baptism. I believe a child should be guided on their spiritual path by providing them with all the information they can digest. Sharing your own beliefs about religion and spirituality is an important part of that.

It does not matter if they are just children. Baptism is for a person that has matured and wants to commit their life to doing God's will. It has nothing to do with salvation. It is public showing of commitment to his will. That is why Jesus did not get baptized till he was 30. It was only when he was ready to start his mission that it was time. So children/babies don't know they want to do in life yet. So in essence it really only means they got wet.

The best way to undo a baptism is to act like a sinner. God won't recognize a baptism if it is not followed by faith and works.

Whats the big problem if you do not believe ,the baptism won't change anything. It is not magic has no spell in it so chill out and live your life your way. That is just silly REALLY silly.
Sorry but just get on with life that is a non question.

There is no place for infant baptism in Christianity. That was made up later. See Acts 2:38, among other passages. So you have nothing to worry about.

If you truly do not believe in baptism then why would you need to have it undone? If it's meaningless to you then no harm is done because nothing was really done to them...right? Let it pass. If you're right then what the got was little more then a special bath. If you're wrong then they may be one up on you.

There is no way to undo a baptism. When your child was baptized, Jehovah God or the same - Jesus Christ - claimed that child as His child.
Be careful, The power of the Lord is over you.

If you don't believe in baptism, then you, like me, simply believe that someone poured water on your kids' heads. You can't undo that. Just teach them the truth and it'll all be okay.
