it is more of a word like piss or something, one of those words that seem potty but not bad enough to categorize as a "cuse word", what do you think. I say in church with my friends all the time...do you think this offends church commandments and all. Its just that I dont think of it as a totally LEGIT cuse word. I think it is on the same bases of piss, what do you think on the matter?

Ebony, Essense, O (Oprah's magazine), Black Enterprise all give information on successful black men and women and would go a long way toward eliminating the negative stereotypes. Last month Ebony ran a story about a 16 year old millionaire and outstanding enterpreneurers. Movies, TV and music videos don't portray us realistically.

He is away temporarily on work, but has said that we're going shopping for my engagement ring soon (I want to be involved in the shopping!)..

So w/him proposing, shouldn't he be asking the question about converting? He has talked about how "our kids will be Jewish", and just a few nights ago he said something about a Jewish wedding.

Is he putting the carriage before the horse? Or is it just not the right timing?

*I haven't told him this, but I think it would be great to convert. I just want him to ask me w/out having to bring it up myself.

If you have a certain belief, have you ever read other works?

For example, if you are Christian, have you read the teachings of Buddha? If you are Muslim, have you read any Hindu scriptures? Atheists, have you ever read the Bible or Koran? Anything outside your own belief structure.

Thought you might enjoy this interesting prayer given in Kansas at the opening session of their Senate. It seems prayer still upsets some people. When Minister Joe Wright was asked to open the new session of the Kansas Senate, everyone was expecting the usual generalities, but this is what they heard:

"Heavenly Father, we come before you today to ask your forgiveness and to seek your direction and guidance.

We know Your Word says, 'Woe to those who call evil good,' but that is exactly what we have done. We have lost our spiritual equilibrium and reversed our values. We have exploited the poor and called it the lottery. We have rewarded laziness and called it welfare. We have killed our unborn and called it choice. We have shot abortionists and called it justifiable. We have neglected to discipline our children and called it building self-esteem. We have abused power and called it politics. We have coveted our neighbor's possessions and called it ambition. We have polluted the air

I used to live in Sacramento and had a great life. Now I live in a town that's a like ghost town, next to Yosemite. My mother's a manager at a hotel in this small town (ten streets). She lives in the manager's unit, which is one kitchen, 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom with spa tub, and office. I wanted my own space so I got my own room in the hotel. My mom makes me work for my rent 6 hours every day. So I work my *** off, just to keep my own room. Every once in a while she likes to go to a Casino with her friends down in the city of Coarsegold. I blackmail her for money everytime, for working over time (Usually $200, she wins a lot at the casino) Well today she wanted to go and I decided to make a agreement. Before I tell you my agreement I would like to say I never get to leave this boring town so that's why I made this agreement.

I have many friends and many favors that I would ask for but the most pressing one I find myself asking for is healing for another. What would you have granted for another. You need not mention a name.
