Yes, Americans are weaklings now. You are wrong about one thing though...the death toll in WWII was close to a million. It was 990 something thousand, with about 50,000 injured.
Also, Americans just don't pay attention to history...and what it should have taught us. Hey, Hitler wasn't a threat either, even after it was suggested that he caused the Hindenberg explosion. And of course it was no problem pulling out of Vietnam, even though three million people throughout Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia lost their lives as a result of the "harmless" Communist regime.
We never learn, do we?

World war two was something that there was a lot more agreement on, while in the current war, a decent portion of people don't believe that we should have gone in. So for those people 2500 is a lot to lose for nothing. Honestly though, I think that most people just don't realize the ratio of living soldiers to those who died.

Lets get some prospective here. There was a time when it was acceptable make racist, sexist, antisemitic statements that not only demeaned the target of such speech, but it belittled the speaker. I would like to think that we are living in a more enlightened age. I would also like to think that we are moving to an era of respect for life, liberty, and the dignity of others.

No matter how many people you lose, people are still DYING. You should have a little more respect for people who are DEAD and still dying. You should tell those Americans they're "weaklings" because they lost someone they loved and cherished and are now feeling very bad.

No, stupid! Americans are never weak. We may seem weak, but if you think Americans are weak, then jump off a ******* bridge! We dont need you here to accuse America of being weak.

Absolutely. Americans in general have lost their moral fiber and intestinal fortitude (and I used fiber and intestinal in the same sentence without talking about digestion).
