Why if your so sure theres a paradise afterlife, why are people so afraid of dying? I was watching a show about a plane thats engines blew out and everyone on board was screaming and all that commotion and they were acting like theres no after life and they couldnt accept it. Why didnt all of them who believe in a paradise after life remain calm during the planes fall into the ocean? What were they all so worried about? Was it that they werent going to see there family again? No, because according to them they'll see them again on the other side for an eternity. Is it because they were afraid of the pain? No because if you die in a plane crash its an instant death and according to them in the after life there is no suffering. So why were they so worried and acting so crazy about that they were about to crash? Its because that when the time comes, they were doubting if theres an after life or not and anyone who says they dont doubt there is one is a liar

My biggest pet peeve is people who don't bag their own groceries when they're perfectly capable of doing so.

So I'm curious ... do you bag your own groceries? If not ... why not?

Of course this doesn't apply if your store has a bag person.

Are "to have a special liking for something" 她 就 特 別 喜 歡 金 頭 髮 的 人 and to be fond of something 愛 好 the same? Is 愛 好 expressed in a more negative manner?
For example, if a man said 我 愛 好 女 人, would he sound like a horny man?

I'm not sure what the proper etiquette is in this situation. Say you're on the phone with someone and you get another call through call waiting. Is it rude to hang up with that person you're already on the phone with in order to talk with the other person?
