We all got certain levels of instinct which may lead you to believe that we are or behave like animals. Some people more than others. But most of us have the ability to use our brains to solve problems, conceptually and physically, and an opposable thumb and the ability to stand on 2 legs, all of which pretty much separates us from animals who just rely on instinct alone to get on with the day to day.

yes, there is no difference between humans and other animals. just go to a primate house in a zoo. (we have 95% the same dna as chimps and if making eye contact with a caged gorilla doesn't show you the 'soul' inside, you're not paying attention.

watch a show about elephants when their family members die - they can identify bones decades out and caress them and spend time with them. but only the bones of their fown amily members.

when i was a kid in school, they'd tell us that humans used tools and animals didn't - we've learned over and over that isn' true. we were told we have language and 'they' don't. we've learned that isn't true. we were told we were the only ones with emotions, this is known not to be true (see elephants et al.)

for goodness sakes, we've put animal organs in our bodies. and by that I mean in sterile surgical theatres.
