Its a pentecostal holiness type church. And what I dont like about the evangelical churches is that all they talk about are tests, trials, tribulations, etc etc etc. negative etc.

Women are already asserting themselves in every facet of our lives & thank GOD they are. Women have taken the reigns of gov't in several countries & have quietly been improving the lot of the PEOPLE. You see women are the mothers of ALL OF US & as mothers they don't like to see their children ANY OF THEIR CHILDREN come to harm. Women are leading the way in every facet of GOODNESS for HUMANITY as a whole. We are ALL ONE BEING ONE MIND, each of us is like a neuron that pulses in the brain of course their are billions of neurons in the brain so as there are many minds all connected together in one CONSCIOUSNESS. Some of you may think no I'm an individual seperate from everyone else when the truth is if you're alive you're CONNECTED & we communicate with each other. Let's all communicate that the women's Will - Will Hold Sway in our world, NO more killing, NO more violence, NO more hunger, NO more thirst, no more Homeless, NO more poverty. IAM putting my entire WILL behind ALL THEIR EFFORT

I've heard tons of people say that according the Bible, Israel will be in confict until Christ's return (or something along those lines). I was just wondering where the Bible mentions it. Could you give me specific references? Could you also expand on it a little? I'm guessing that this is mentioned somewhere in the book of Revelation.

Sorry, I know I posted this in the wrong section but I wanted to ask Jim a question.

Where do evolutionists draw the line between survival of the fittest and killing? Seeing evolution is based on the survival of the fittest is it then okay to use my advantage over another human to take life if necessary? Is there a line or have I completely missed something. I know survival of the fittest refers to individual specimen successfully breeding over another, but can it also carry across to an actual challenge between the two. Hope you get what I’m trying to ask if not peace.

Despite many differences a common belief in Christianity is the Atonement, or great sacrifice of Jesus Christ. What does it mean to you as an individual? How does it effect your daily life?

Check out this websites about the ten lost tribes of israel:

And the strange cultural familiarities of ancient israel and Japan: (http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-religion/877114/posts)

Sample: Many of the traditional ceremonies in Japan seem to indicate that the Lost Tribes of Israel came to ancient Japan.

Here are some points stressed. In the site they have the pictures to prove it!!!

"Japanese Religious Priests "Yamabushi" Put A Black Box on their Foreheads Just As Jews Put A Phylactery on their Foreheads. "

"The Crest of the Imperial House of Japan Is the Same As That Found On the Gate of Jerusalem."

"Japanese "Omikoshi" Resembles the Ark of the Covenant."

"The Structure of the Japanese Shinto Shrine is Similar to God's Tabernacle of Ancient Israel."

My comment: "With this is mind I would like to have your opinion on this. I admantly believe that it cant be coincidence though.

Now I will admit the bible does tell us to pray, and we can ask for things that we want. But I have heard far too many ppl, both irl and on here, say that they don't believe in God, because they prayed for something and he didn't answer, and or they didn't get what they want.

Do you really believe that you can make ultimatums with God? Most rational ppl at some point or another come to terms with the fact that they can ask there parents for whatever they want, but there parents can say no. Yet when it comes to God, if one prayer isn't answered the way we want we turn away from our faith. Why is that?
