3. To put to a wrong or improper use; misuse.
4. To interpret incorrectly; misconstrue or distort: an analysis that perverts the meaning of the poem.
To my wife though, the definition of pervert is "man," with me as the exception though.

Most everyone at one time or another has had thoughts that may not be accepted by society... Perverts are those that act on those thoughts..

many people are perverts, they just don't talk about it. the people you would consider perverts are the ones that have the balls to say what they are thinking when everyone else thinks like that but does not talk about it in public.
