People have got a right to believe...you cant forcibly stop them from believing, but you can make them understand that thier belief is wrong...if it's not in your hands, then why get frustrated? You can ignore thier beliefs.

Yes. Especially these are the same people that takes 4 forms of evidence to prove something that was the headline in a major newspaper. They won't believe anything anyone else says, unless maybe a good friend. But like people at their job that repeat something they just read as fact in the paper that day, and just don't agree with it means it isn't true to them.
I just think that it's funny that they believe in an "invisible man" without any proof, but are the hardest to convince in any other matter where there is. the only reason they are so devout is because their parents got them involved at birth. and their parents were even more strict on their parents and so on.
i think it's funny that the spanish forced catholisism on the blind sheep of mexico, now they are so dedicated to it (well sort of, go to church, have kids, but crime and everything else is ok.)
And these people make laws for the rest of the nation!?!

I don't know what you mean by blind believer. To a degree we all believe in something. And that doesn't have to mean god. For those people who don't believe in god they believe in the spiritual Giana. Or Satan, or whatever. Some people say they believe in nothing but that is a lie. If you believed in nothing you would be so ignorant you could not sit up straight. Literally. You believe that when you sit your buttocks and your back along with your hips helps you to sit up right. If you didn't believe you could do this, then you would not be able to. So really there is not a blind believer, that actually is a contradiction.

I dont think I am blind. It frustrates me that time has always been. That people believe in the "Big Bang" and the earth was here. Where did the universe come from? Has our universe always been here? If not where did it come from? Everybody has to believe in something, even if we don't agree on who is right. God still loves us all, even if we don't all believe.

Yes, as a Christian, I am VERY frustrated about how blind some "believers" are. You can convince some people of anything, if you are willing to take a few verses of the Bible out of context, twist a few more, and count heavily on your audience not to read or study on their own. You can get them to line up at an altar, to have their spirits "slain". You can get them to crawl around on the floor, making noises like farm animals. You can even convince them to send you huge amounts of ca$h for it.
Amazing. But...how else could TBN survive?

Though I agree that a certain amount of "blindness" is required to commit to any religion (in the sense of turning away from the possibility that anyone else's beliefs could be "right"), it doesn't frustrate me unless the believers try to foist it off on me.

There is something seriously wrong with you and everyone saying yes. I don't care if you don't believe in any religion, but you are all f*cking hypocrites to say that it frustrates you when other people believe in nonsense. You are the ones complaining about people trying to proselytize you, but you are the real missionaries here. You won'tlet people believe whaat they wwant to believe because you are too arrogant. Get off people's backs and let them have what the constitution grants them: FREEDOM OF RELIGION. People will respect the constituion much more than your warped views.

Religion is a lot like sex.
If people want to have perverted kinky S&M feces-eating sex in the privacy of their home, they can do it regardless of how twisted I think they are because nobody has to watch it. But when they start doing that in public or demand that I partake in it, they've stepped over the line.
I feel the exact same way about religion and people pushing it onto me or displaying it in public.
Of course, I am in *no way* comparing religion with revolting sexual habits....

The amazing thing about humans is our inherent need for "something else", a higher power, perhaps.
We have believers, non-believers, the unsure...I am so blessed to be born to a nation that is tolerant of what I have faith in. How lucky for you to have the same blessing.
May blessings rain upon you this day.
