Genesis 12:2-3 reads, "I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your name great and you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you and whoever curses you I will curse and all people's on earth will be blessed through you." Abraham lived about 1800 BC. Origionally he was an unknown, idol worshipping, sheepherder who would have lived and died a nobody. Yet, here is a prediction in the Bible that he will be a great nation and he will be blessed. He has become a great nation. The Jews, and many Arabs trace their ancestory to Abraham. The Jews, Muslims and Christians trace their spiritual ancestry to Abraham. This was fulfilled. "...I will make your name great." Abraham's name is considered great around the world, generation after generation. All people's on earth have been blessed through his faith and through his life example. In Galatians 3:8, it reveals that the whole world was blessed, even the Gentiles, through the Gospel. What do you think?

Do you spend your time knocking on atheists doors and arguing with them about their lack of belief or do you just let them believe as they choose? If you share your faith and that person tells you that they are atheists or agnostics do you continue to preach or just leave them alone and leave it to God?

I believe he farted very loudly when standing next to the Queen a couple of weeks ago - assembled on a balcony among the rest of the Royal Family at Buckingham Palace, above thousands of adoring subjects.

Kindly confirm - this is important and needs airing...

What does it hurt them or cost them if we choose to worship a Creator in whatever manner we choose? I mean how is it really any of their concern? I practice my faith and I raise my children. I do not tell you what to teach your children or what you can believe so why do some atheists seem bent on having a say about our beliefs?

The HOLY QURAN says ALLAH guides whom he wills and he lets astray whom he wills.
another verse says :Whosoever ALLAH guides No one can mislead him and whosoever lets astray no one can guide him.Does this mean that ALLAH has already classified the people into two groups some he would guide and some he would lead them astray and there is nothing anybody can do?
Would like responses from muslims only.

Men lust after women as well as love them. Many men say they cannot live without women, but some women say they can live without men. Does that mean that men love women more than women love men?

The big thing with liberal Christians is tolerance and love. But if you look at God and Christ, they show no tolerance at all for sinning. In the Bible, Christ rejected people all the time who would not give up their current lifestyles to follow him. For example - He embraced the prostitute Mary Magdeline but not so she could keep on prostituting but so she could start a new life in Christ. Is tolerance something true Christians should be behind or is a trick of the devil to fool Christians into doing his work?

Religious belief is a hugely important influence in the world, and yet no-one in all of human history has ever produced one single solitary fact or valid argument to logically justify a belief in the existence of any deities. Religious beliefs and religious differences cause enormous harm throughout the world in terms of promoting violent conflict, persecution, discrimination, oppression and so on, all on the basis of something which no-one can show is anything more than pure fantasy.

Hence I would say that atheists are not only *entitled* to discuss, criticise, condemn and ridicule religious belief, we have a *duty* to do so, in the hope that one day everyone will see it for the nonsense that it really is. Anyone who insists we should just keep quiet about it is gravely mistaken. Don't you agree?
