The HOLY QURAN says ALLAH guides whom he wills and he lets astray whom he wills.
another verse says :Whosoever ALLAH guides No one can mislead him and whosoever lets astray no one can guide him.Does this mean that ALLAH has already classified the people into two groups some he would guide and some he would lead them astray and there is nothing anybody can do?
Would like responses from muslims only.

It means, everyone that obeys God, then God guides her/him during the life.

I'm a Christian and I understand that if you are Muslim why you don't?

Have a nice day.

your question is related to the predestination belief , we Muslims believe that all our lives ( what has been and what will become is all in Allah knowledge BUT notice this impotent part of our believe we always have the ability to choose and what ever our choice is it is always a part of Allah's timeless knowledge. for more information may be you should read related books.

I do not think you are a Muslim.

Muslims know that Allah with His knowledge of our past, present and future, Knows for certain if a man will be a believer or not, even though if he acted differently in front of others or for certain period, for one reason or another.
So with this knowledge on hand, Allah will help those who are bound to be good to the right path, and those who are bound to bad, Allah might mislead them.

I am trying to make it clear as simple as possible.

Yes, correct; this mean God have the power decide all thing and nobody override his decision. "Allah" is word in Arabic mean "God"; "ilah" mean
"god". Statement of Faith "there is no god but God, and Muhammad is his prophet". If believe this then also must believe God have no son, and believe Jesus Messiah not die on a cross.
