If you do, do you have any idea what year you might have lived in or what your fate was? Do you believe that past lovers could come to you in your present dreams?

How many of you talk on the phone while you are on the potty? And do you tell that person that you are in the bathroom, or do you try to hide it?

I have a freind that is married. Her boyfriend at the time beat the hell out of her and put her in the hospital. Well two weeks later they go to the county court house and get married. At least once a month she is leaving him for the beatings but she always goes back. Right now they have been married for a little less than 6 months and she has left him again because he beat the **** out of her and put her in the hospital. But we all have a feeling that she will go back. I have been married for 3 1/2 years and my husband has never raised a hand to me. But I know that if he did he would be sorry. So why do women constantly put themselves through the abuse?

ok, i've just gotten done reading through the graphic novel by J. O'BARR, for like the 100-someodd time. & aside from it being such a badass book, i've began to wonder, could the reserected erik draven be a juggalo. look at the facts, he is painted up like a harlequin-which is a type of clown. he doesn't die, which, if you listen to some icp, they claim that too! & he does use a hatchet in one scene.
so with the clues i've come across. what do you think?

Why Do Christian Women Wear Horseshoes?

"Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, as christ also is the head of the church, he himself being the savior of the body. But as the church is subject to christ, so also the wives ought to be to their husbands in everything." (Ephesians 5:22-24)

"Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. For Adam was first formed, then Eve. And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression." (1 Timothy 2:11-14)

"Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience as also saith the law. And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church." (1 Corinthians 14:34)

I don't get my morality from the Bible. So my question to those of you who do,

Do you require a book to tell you that killing is wrong?

The Bible authorizes slavery in Leviticus 25.44. Is God wrong?

The Bible teaches that when the law requires stoning, that the person who is without sin is to throw the first stone.

If there were an adulterous couple, or a homosexual couple for example, in my neighboorhood, could I use the Bible as my example of morality and bring them to the public square, and have my son, who is 3, and without sin, throw the first stone, and then have the rest of the village I am in throw stones?

There are places on Earth that still throw stones, at adulterors and homosexuals, predominantly these are Muslim countries, but shouldn't we be able to (those who follow the Bible) obey the rules that still permit stoneing also if we are in those countries?

Could I go to Iran and throw stones too?

Why do we alwasy compromise our faith with the world. Are we tryine to evangelize? We should be able to do that without compromising our beliefs. Not to say I'm not guilty of it as well. Thoughts? Encouragement?
