What exactly do you mean by unnatural? Are you speaking of murder and/or suicide? Perhaps mercy killing (when someone is in such pain that they ask a friend or doctor to just let them die)? As for philosophy there are many theories about death. Not like someone else posted "in philosophy it is the will of god" whoever wrote that maybe doesn't know what philosophy is. That's more of a religious view of death. Anyway many philosophers have written in great detail about death. For example, Heidegger saw death as the completion of life. Think of it like a movie. A movie has a beginning and end. Life is the same. And death is the completion of a persons life. If someone where to not die then they would never be complete, according to some philosophical theories. I suggest reading some philosophy from the french and germans between the 17th and 20th centuries. A few that deal with the topic of death in particular are Heidegger, Sartre, Camus, Nietzsche and many of their contemporaries. Two books I would recommend in particular are Being and Time by Martin Heidegger and Being and Nothingness by Sartre. The former is especially a must read for someone who is interested in the topic of death.

Look up in the bible in the book of Ecclesiastes chapter 9. That will give you a clear answer, right out of the source.

The Bible, on the other hand, tells us that the dead are unconscious; they are in a condition best compared to sleep. (Ecclesiastes 9:5, 10)

Some people are tormented after death.
Many religions teach that the wicked will go to a fiery hell and be tormented forever. Is this teaching logical and Scriptural? The human life span is limited to 70 or 80 years. Even if someone was guilty of extreme wickedness all his life, would everlasting torment be a just punishment? No. It would be grossly unjust to torment a man forever for the sins that he committed in a short lifetime.

Only God can reveal what happens after people die, and he has done so in his written Word, the Bible. This is what the Bible says: "As the [beast] dies, so the [man] dies; and they all have but one spirit . . . All are going to one place. They have all come to be from the dust, and they are all returning to the dust." (Ecclesiastes 3:19, 20) There is no mention here of a fiery hell. Humans return to dust—to nonexistence—when they die.

Depending on how you were living will depend on what happens to you after you die. If you lived your life reasonably well and was a good person to those around you, you may be rewarded with eternal rest in heaven/summerlands/shangri la etc. However if you were a jerk and racked up a lot of negative karma, you will be sent down to earth to be reincarnated. Now this can have two outcomes. The first you can be born into a worse situation than your past life there fore be paying off you karmic "debt" or you can be sent down to learn what you did not learn the first time (so to speak). It all depends on karma. Everything you say, think or do is imprinted on the Akashik record. So if you think and act in a positive way then you will get good karma, if you do the opposite it is negative karma. When you die the good is weighed against the bad. Depending on the outcome decides your karmic fate.

I have lived at least 4 past lives. Once as a Comanche brave named Two winds. Once as a French noblewoman named Madelaine Robspierre, I lived on Lamuria during the time of Atlantis and I have existed in the medieval ages as a warrior. I also know that we are drawn to people that we knew in past lives. My partner and I have been together in many of them. Just think about your best friend, the one that you seem to of known forever and are very close. Doesn't it feel like you known them before?

As to what is afterlife? The definitions are endless. To me it is our spiritual life released from the physical realm. A reuniting with the divine (goddess in my case).

Normally, after a person stops breathing and the heartbeat ceases, it is several minutes before gradual cessations of the life force in the body cells begins. If the body is subjected to severe cold, that process can be delayed for hours. For this reason, it is sometimes possible to revive persons by means of cardiopulmonary resuscitation. They were what is termed "clinically dead," but their body cells were still alive. Many persons revived from "clinical death" remember nothing. Others report experiencing a floating sensation. Some say they saw beautiful things: others were terrified by their experience. Me when I went under a anesthestiga I saw a spiral in a circle constantly traveling inward like a whirlpool and lights about me and I was merely put to sleep for surgery.

Most cultures past and present, have contained some belief in an afterlife. This belief is usually manifested in a religion, as it pertains to phenomena beyond the ordinary experience of the natural world. Various evidences have been advanced throughout the ages for the existence of an afterlife:

Testimony of individuals who claim experiential knowledge of facets of afterlife
by having died and then been sent back to this life (near-death experiences)
by having visited the afterlife during a period of unconsciousness (out-of-body experiences)
by having seen the afterlife during a revelatory vision
by a unique personal gift of remembering an afterlife (before-life) existence
by having communicated with (or received a message from) someone who has died (after death communication or electronic voice phenomena)
Testimony of individuals who are thought to have special insights into the afterlife
holy ones
miracle workers
spectacular converts
Claimed testimony of visitors from the afterlife
God(s)
Angels
Spirits
Human intuitions of goodness thought to emanate from the afterlife
Rational philosophical or theological arguments
The immortal nature of the soul
The natural desire for immortality
Formal characterizations of the afterlife have elaborated these testimonies in innumerable ways. These traditions may be broadly distinguished by how they answer questions such as:

What happens at the moment of death?
Is the afterlife a normal life, or a different type of existence?
Are afterlife conditions a consequence of good and bad actions during life?
If so, what are these rewards and punishments? Who is assigned to which fate?
Is the afterlife eternal?
Is the afterlife unchanging or ever-changing?
Is it possible to reincarnate as a human or another form of life?
If there is an afterlife, then is there a "prelife" (life before birth)?

The death becomes unseen, they become a form not dead and not alive like us. The life after the death is another type of life, kept hidden by us. And when the human or earth life ends the marks on this world are eternal, the soul that left is a shadow of life, the time is leaving them alone. In other worlds eternity life (for the first question) and immortal (for the second).

There are 2 point of views on this matter.First,if u r a Christian, there`s no life after death. The moment you pass away, you`ll be judged whether to go to heaven or hell. The second is,if u r a Buddhist, there`s a belief about reincarnation which means there is another life on the earth after one`s death. And someone who can tell his pass(about his life before) is called an indigo person, which is caused by a not perfect reincarnation process. And what u r goin to be in the next life depends on your deeds in ur life before. It is believed that if u r very cruel to animals(eg:pig) in ur life bfore,u`ll reincarnate as a pig in ur next life. But personally,I don`t believe in that sort of reincarnation things though there are books written about the Indigos.

I have dreams about 1926 all the time...and victorian clothing and hats...But I don't beleive it means I was a past life from 1850-1926
rather, It might be a family members past surfacing in my mind. As for the end, I know hell exists, and nirvana exists. If you are a sinner you will feel your skin burn off of your bones and your eyes will burn out of thier sockets. You will claw you way up a wall of hot embers til your fingers burn off and you will never be free from the pain. If you are a good soul you will be free in heaven but as far as what it will be like is up to you, it's the ultimate gift! You get relax and no more stress no more hate no more negative feelings, I can't explain it in words because these are feelings you will never know until make it to heaven.

Well I would say why don't you die then you can come back and explain it to all of us, if you have never died then you do not know. Many people may have an opinion or an idea about what they think happens, but how do they really know? No one can answer that question.........unless................they have come back from the dead to warn us.....................scary isn't it? Not really, we will find out when our time comes, until then just try to live life as a good person and get along with everyone, no fighting, no hating, just helping other people and being happy.

This is not an easy question, but are you ready to read and understand? After death you will go to the grave and when your friends leave you there alone two angels will come to you and ask you three questions.
1- Who is ur God?
2- Wt is ur religion ?
3- Wt do u think of ur messenger?
If you could answer correctly, you will be in paradise. If you couldn't,you will go to hell.
Don't think these are easy question because many people are disbelievers and others believe in different gods. They also believe in religions which God doesn't accept. Don't think you can cheat on God. Be careful.
