First of all, your son at 3 wouldn't even know why he's being baptized in the first place. You're baptizing him rather he likes it or not against his will, so it's not benefitting him. Secondly, he doesn't know what sin is, so he can't throw stones at people who've sinned. Sounds like you're making a poor attempt at trying to contradict the Bible. Watch out, he might cast the first stone at you.

In your case, I honestly believe that God would make an exception... Stone anyone? You have a rather large cranium filled to the brim with nonsense so I don't think Id miss either....
Praise Jesus!

*** And Im not a christian by the way so don't even use my precious hostility to prove ANOTHER whiney point to your worthless cause. Whatever that may be? And why hostle you ask? Because I am tired of the ignorance involved in people of the same type and intelligence as found in their opponent, batting reasons and incidentals back and forth to try and make the other wrong...

It is essentially what is wrong with society as a whole. You are a plague and an idiot for all of the intelligence you clam to own and possess you are just as ignorant if not more so than they are! Find another rug to beat... This one is beaten half to death and for what? What have any of your proved to your advantage or discredited in the others? Itis stale air being moved back and forth serving no one and proving nothing!

But your so clever in your presentation and your delivery, I figured Id just give you a little attention to whet your whistle...

You know, at least when a christian tries to "preach" their message, at least it is usually in good faith, with good intention (although there are your type of militant preacher in their world as well.) But what is wrong with someone who thinks it is beautiful, some one who wants to share an experience with another human being, viod of preconcieved intent or that "I told ya so." or "I'll show you a thing or two." kind of mindset. When a christian is correct in their sharing what they feel they know, it can be from a loving concerned place. You honestly sound like someone who just has ugly old issues about preaching and hearing anything that has to do with anything other than you...

Do you see the error in the WAY you go about it? The things you say that are mocking and neener neener neeener, ha ha ha haaaa ha, Your a sing song idiot box... You aren't speaking out to anyone for any other reason than to prove something to yourself. In the very least... the christians honestly BELIEVE they are helping, from what they feel is a loving place, a place of concern. Your "Morality." as you so eloquently stated elsewhere. Is self based and self serving. So you should also continue along that path in keeping with that theme and KEEP IT TO YOURSELF!

My personal morality comes from a place of compassion, tough love so to speak... it is a mission to take all of the idiots in the world and force them (no, asking if it's okay) force them to have plexi-glass windows installed in their bodies so that you can all see it from our perspective what your heads look like up your butts. It aint pretty... Maybe then, you would all just learn to live and let live. BOTH of you! Christian and Whatever the heck you are... Moral activist extrordinere? Lex Luthor? Teacher of children? Whoever?

well im not sure if i am going to answer your question correctly, but I think that if you are going to teach your kid something always, always go God's way!!! and you do not have the choice on deciding if he should or should not get baptized, you get baptized after you accept Jesus into your heart. Your son is 3yrs. old and he still doesn't know right from wrong yet! It is only up to your son to chose God and to be baptized but only when he is ready! you should check this out:

For you, I don't think it works that way.

It's not enough to just go through the motions of the act of baptism. You have to believe that God's grace is literally being conferred on your son. You have to believe that the waters of baptism are actually washing him clean of original sin.

In other words, you have to believe in the baptism as the Bible teaches it.

But since you apparently have no use for the Bible, then it's safe to presume that you hold no such beliefs about the baptism. Hence, the baptism would be invalid.

Baptism is only for those who have understanding of it. The catholic system is false. Only the sacrifice that Jesus did for us can clean and wipe away our sin. If there was another way, and God is Omniscient (all knowing) why would He come and die? Jesus said: "I am the way the truth and the life, no man comes to the father, but by me. There is no such thing as "original sin". The Bible makes no mention of it. We are all born sinners and remain that way until God cleans us. You have to decide. Do you TRUST God or the Catholic Church? Jesus never called his 'mother' mother, but woman. According to Jewish customs, that was disrespectful to address you mother that way as it is today. She is not a mediator: "For there is one mediator between God and man, Jesuschrist." Don't trust what people say, trust what God sais. Romans 1:17: "For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith."

you have unfortunately little understanding of the bible sir. there is no stone throwing after Jesus, 'let him without sin cast the first stone.' a 3 year old is not charged with sin unless he/she knows he is sinning anyways. i don't believe water baptism accomplishes a whole lot, or really nothing at all

It's a shame you have a child with the foolishness you speak. May the Lord protect your son from your backwards way of teaching him. You do not baptize a child, for they automatically go to heaven. God help you.

No, he can't throw the first stone. Teach you son "that's not right." Far better to be a human being than to be a religious nut.

Baptism doesn't clear any sins. Only a personal choice does that. Baptism is just the outward display of your decision. You seem to really into throwing stones.
