Ok we all have given and receieved a gift and most times we either return it or not use it.Therefore we give a gift card so that the person can purchase a gift that they will actual use and or like.
So why do so-called gift experts insist that we buy a gift knowing that the person will most likely not use it or exchange it?
And what are your thoughts about a gift card?

Why do Muslims side step this question or claim it isn't true when it is stated in their Qur'an? I am not an Islamic scholar but look these up for yourself.
Quranic verses that dictate violence against Kaffirs (non beleivers). Some may claim these are taken out of context...I say they are taken from their Holy Book.

I am looking for the name of a specific Catholic priest. He is a family friend, married lots of my siblings, presided over the funeral of my brother, but we have lost contact with him.... I think last I saw him was in the late 80s. He was in the Manchester, NH area at that time. Please don't bring up anything about the scandals that are involved in priest now.... that's not the reason why I am searching.

This is a question for Christians please.

Do you believe that God saves some and doesn't save others? Do you believe that people have a choice to accept Jesus and be saved, or does God choose who will be saved? If you believe God chooses, do you believe the "unlucky ones" are just doomed from birth?

I realize that not all Christians are futurists, and not all futurists think that Jesus Christ's second coming will occur before the tribulation does. Based on Scripture, and not on what you have heard from others, please provide your viewpoint on this matter. I do hope that the answers will not become mean-spirited. I have situations where I see things before they happen. I used to give people advice and tell them things based on their attitude that ended up coming true. I read in the bible that people that can read the future are of the devil. I used to be a SATANIST (but no longer) and now I am a christian. How do I keep from seeing things that will come to pass???

With large multiplex theaters parents have found this to be a cheap babysitter for the day, they pay for one movie and leave the children there for the whole day for the child to go from movie to movie for free. If they stole a candy bar in a store this is considered stealing isn't this the same, or even more the reason why ticket prices have increased. Is this a new social issue in society that we can take what we can when we can for free without any moral consideration.

since i'm born i seem to be a member of some Dutch Church. )I'm Dutch, sorry, i really don't know the english translation for the brand of the church, in Dutch it's called "Nederlands Hervormd"
I never asked to be a member of that religion.

Every year they send me their bill, something with tithing.

Each year, and i've been doing this for 9 years now, i donate 1 eurocent to them, with the message to please remove me from their mailing list.

But each year again they spend 35 cents on a stamp to collect my 1 cent.

Churches these days are really that desperate? Or is it, that God hates science so much, that Math is forbidden in churches?
