I have situations where I see things before they happen. I used to give people advice and tell them things based on their attitude that ended up coming true. I read in the bible that people that can read the future are of the devil. I used to be a SATANIST (but no longer) and now I am a christian. How do I keep from seeing things that will come to pass???

Read 1 Corinthians 12 it speaks on spiritual gifts ......use your gift for Gods glory ....blessings on you .......after reading other answers I thought i would write a bit more.....God gives gifts freely to believers and He gives gifts when we are born....so if you worship Satan and your gift was prophesy guess what you still got it but you are using it for the devil (fortuneteller, tarra cards) God gives us dreams and visions, young and old , male and female it does not matter who you are and what you look like.Satan does not know the future, he is a defeated foe, he knows nothing all he can do is what his followers do for him. Man shall crush him under their heel and he shall strike at it .....so once again ....use your gift for GOD's glory.....HE LOVES YOU and you too !

Alrighty... Ignore all these psychos and take it from a learning psychic herself... My power is a little weirder, mine I can see the future in my dreams... and yes... that means most of my dreams are boring and lifelike... I've had some crazy dreams...but then they'd turn out to be a cartoon I seen or something [insane huh?] in any case, YES it is very possible to be Psychic... Christian..Satanist?,...uhm no...I'm sorry, but i'm Catholic... do you see those people above who try to direct you to a religion...Christians mainly, that force you to read and understand a MAN written bible?? Yeah, Catholics don't do that haha... I was a born Catholic... sure i've questioned god a handful of times... but at least I don't find my answer in a man made book that is full of pre-made "kick-me" signs to apply to yourself when ever you talk to someone...[i'm sorry, but devout christians really annoy me] sure, say this short rant isn't very christian of me because IT'S NOT, i'm catholic *****... Christians believe they get baptised by the chrisitian church and they are forgiven forever, and they just try to make everything fun [because they think everything is all fun and games] they re-write the bible in funner little "teen bibles" or they open up "christian singles" plus they don't believe in all the wonderful saints... [i'm a child of saint barbara!!] Catholics believe in all the saints... the holy trinity [triqueta] its much more connected to Catholicism...Catholics realize and emphasize the suffering you go through life.. and they are usually pure and sincere [while christians are hippocrits, tell you how evil you are and then turn around and are usually the worst representation of human kind trying to force you to be unhappy with yourself] I'm sorry but devout christians REALLY make me mad...ANYWAY yeah... hahaha, i'm eccentric, sorry... but at least i'm happy with myself... and i'm Catholic... and a learning Semi Psychic!!! ^_^ YES A PERSON CAN BE PSYCHIC!!! If you want to stop yourself from seeing the future then just think it really hard every day...focus on it... and wish for it to go away... I did, and I lost my gift for a while... it never totally came back, but I really missed it.... so it came back slowly... and i'm working on getting it as strong as it was before.

People who see the future are not of the devil. We're born with the abilities and considering God created us He had to have given us the gift.

Just to tell you - you cant just be a satanist and then convert to christianity. It means you werent a true satanist. They are born, not made. so if you really were, i dont think you would have become a christian.

ok ok so if you can be psychic but because ou believe in like that the devil is like that then maybe its the devil. i am christian but i dont believe that its like the devils doing. you cant keep for seeing the what will happen.

I would seek advice from your church pastor, or a church elder. Either that, or just pray about it. I used to work with this girl, and
when we spoke, I could tell her things about her life that nobody knew except her. But I was never involved in the occult or anything.
It was pretty weird.

psychic is the ablity to see into the futer you case, yes, especially if you have seen it before, its just sub science. christian dont want you to think, so of course its the devils work.
