And for that matter, should the Native Americans have a History Month dedicated to them since they were here first?

I am just asking because this other guy on here is so angry about why people would question the whole concept of a month dedicated to one race.Why not celebrate and educate all cultures and races all year long?We are the melting pot of the world after all.

I saw a documentary about Japanese women who suffered having their feet broken numerous times and then bonded together tightly to form an odd shape in order to fit in these tiny shoes. Does any one know what I am talking about? I don't know what these shoes are called or what the women were called, or what the time era was. I know it was a long time ago. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Why are black people allowed to have BET, "BLACK ENTETAINMENT TELEVISION", beccause if white people had WET< WHITE ENTERTAINMENT TELEVISION, every black person in the united states would be standing on their rooftops screaming, "that's discrimination"! Recently, there was a book by Jayant Narlikar 'The Scientific Edge', in which he explains about top ten achievements of Indians. There are five before 1950 all individual efforts while other five after 1950, all institutional achievements. Where the individual has vanished? Why India has forgotton respecting Individual efforts? This is a shame for the country like India or rather all other developing countries which is aspiring to be developed. Developing countries has produced individual excelelnce in negative aspects only. The world will have to find the answer.

If your an culture besides white people,then hear this.The only reason why we have a black history month is because we had people take a stand and say,i wanna celebrate my history and they would'nt rest till the goverment let it be.See thats exacly what im talking about,we stood up and fought.Yall's ancestors did'nt fight,if the govorment said no yall just walked away.WHITE people what can you celbrate your ancestors did nothing but treat us like ****!So why should you guys diserve a month?Any way most white people get everything they want,every single day of the year is a white persons day.Us blacks are still fighting for our rights,yeah we fought for our freedom.But now we want our right and credit for everything we did.If it was'nt for us White people would'nt be so high class.Us blacks fought for everbody.And we just don't get credit.Martin Luther King,Jr would still be sad.
