Since last sixty years, no individual has excelled in his or her field, why and what should be done?

Recently, there was a book by Jayant Narlikar 'The Scientific Edge', in which he explains about top ten achievements of Indians. There are five before 1950 all individual efforts while other five after 1950, all institutional achievements. Where the individual has vanished? Why India has forgotton respecting Individual efforts? This is a shame for the country like India or rather all other developing countries which is aspiring to be developed. Developing countries has produced individual excelelnce in negative aspects only. The world will have to find the answer.

India embraced a socialist and collectivist approach after the war. That is death to the individual entrepreneurial spirit. The bulk of your truly great individuals came to the United States or other Anglosphere countries, where they could get the reward of their genius instead of having to be part of a "team" of mediocre thinkers.

AND SO MUST WE NOW BECOME UNIVERSITY'S OF KNOWLEDGE

maybe the subjects of the nations in the ""free" world" are so conditioned by their learning and way of life that it is blocking their minds and the subjugation process on the way to total control over our faculties.
