I'm 40 and stilI can't believe I'm in the minority on this. I find summer and its heat so oppressive and sickening yet so many seem to like it. It's months of inescapable misery for me and yet I find almost no one to commiserate with. Winter and cold are a blessed solitude and peacefulness I dream of, but no one seems to like it. Some of you must know how I feel.

When I say I need a man I dont mean as in I cant make it with out them. I am saying how much better my life is with them, and that I dont have to do all the things myself. Arent men stronger than women? Cant we feel safer with them present? arent men good to have around? and dont they complete us?

It would seem that one potential method of determining the validity of a religion is to look at the behavior of it's adherents.

Yet it seems that Christians behave no better than people of other faiths or those of no faith.

(In fact, asside from my 35 years in the US, I lived for over two years in a Hindu/Buddhist/Muslim/anamistic country. Of those groups, the Buddhists seemed to be the most tolerant, peaceful people.)

I realize this is not the only method, but it is one. I also realize that the point of Christianity is the idea of the eternal soul and realizing the divinity of Christ. It just seems that if Christianity was THE true religion, it's followers would be at least a little better people than those who follow false faiths or something else.

It seems that many women are pretty self sufficient and dont need men because we can do pretty much of what they actually do. It also seems that they are alone and or bitter. Could women have played a big part in the great divide between women and men. Does anyone agree? What happened ?
