I'm 40 and stilI can't believe I'm in the minority on this. I find summer and its heat so oppressive and sickening yet so many seem to like it. It's months of inescapable misery for me and yet I find almost no one to commiserate with. Winter and cold are a blessed solitude and peacefulness I dream of, but no one seems to like it. Some of you must know how I feel.

hmmm. crazy.. i dont know how you feel absolutely hate the cold.. you can cool down and take clothes off in the heat but once your cold and chilled to the bone.. your sucking... it takes forever to thaw out

I also Hate Hate Hate the Sumner. I Hate the Heat. I HATE the Humidity most of All. I use to Love the heat / summer. Then I do not know. All of A sudden I no longer liked the heat.
I have an A/C unit but where I live the owner put in the biggest oldest style windows & he will Not allow me to take out a window and put my a/c unit in. Pisses me off. Maybe if I had the ac in and NOT 7 Fans !! Which only blow warm air around anyways. Bring on the fall. I could live in the season fall all year round. Nice days and cool breezy nights to sleep.

I also hate summer heat! I like the cool air, rain, and the solitude with peace and quiet. The summer heat makes me miserable! In Summer heat, the population gets very noisy! cannot get cool air! In the Winter if I get cold, I can put more clothes on.

I hate summer as well. Lot a crazy drivers out there when it comes to hot weekends and after work, everybody is angry and rude and unpolite to you i think is because the heat wave, kids everywhere screaming and running like hell and crossing the street without their parents supervision you could almost run them over. I think the positive way is the beach and the cool summer breeze. Mosquitoes are hell on the dusk better avoid them. Your car gets super hot when you get in your car the seat is like a hot grill.

Yes I hate taking four showers a day, everyone's on vacation so everything crowded. I live in oc ca, but where can I move to? East coast is hot and humid all summer..south is hot and humid all year..wa ore too much rain

I hate summer. I hate it for a different reason than you do. I have Asperger Syndrome (A high-functioning form of autism). Part of my problem with this disorder is sensory difficulty. Mine is biggest with hearing. With no offence to America, I hate, hate, hate the Fourth of July. Sometimes the sound from the neighbors' setting off fireworks makes me so upset, that I have had to check into the hospital. Most of latter June and the rest of July brings more fairs with more fireworks and more rowdy neighbors. In August, I just can't wait for September to arrive.

I hate it too. Makes me not want to do anything, gives me a headache and there is no escape from it. You can take off all your clothes and still be miserable. Smh.

I'm 27 I like the summer for the relief it brings for amusement parks, carnivals and stuff like that. Nobody likes the intense heat of the summer. I like the spring and fall. Its not too cold or too hot. Thats just me.

hello, i am a 40 yr old dude that 100% despises summer and the heat...alot of my wrk consists of attic work and its just flippin awful....i so love fall and winter but here in the pit of hell which is Alabama we dont get that great,of a winter just a miserable summer

hi. im in england. i love this hot weather... although its so temperamental. need a cardie in early morning. then its hot. but then it rains, but to hot still to wear a mac.. then too hot and muggy to sleep at night.
