In my own experience, no race is smarter or more intelligent than any other race. (If God really made it like that, that would be messed up.) It's so acceptable to be white and smart or intelligent; but when a black person is intelligent, he/she can get flack from both white and black people. Asians are kicking America's butt with their intelligence and technology, but they certainly aren't smarter than Americans. I think there should be less resistance to intelligence and ambition no matter what sector of society it comes from. When 5 pastors were telling me not do a certain thing, a homeless guy who smokes crack told me to listen to God for myself and do what HE said. I did just that, and it turned out all 5 pastors were wrong and the homeless guy was right. Stereotypes can make some people feel safe, but stereotypes aren't really working in anyone's favor.

I'm single, and I've been applying for jobs, and attending school, though I sometimes or often yearn to connect with others. I've met and known some people, but they're not the ones I can always hang out or talk with. A couple of them seem always busy with work, the recent ones, I had been hanging out at the college, are married and have kids.

I want to work again, and possibly volunteer. I feel like my life is limited without a job. I also have this feeling that I need to meet new people again, especially single people.

Considering that the USA has been involved in armed conflict pretty much continuously since the end of WWII, is the concept of there being peace a lie? Is it possible that violent creatures such as man can ever achieve peace? Or are we just fooling ourselves?

In short, why do people covet?

Case in point, I have two daughters with a playroom full of lots of toys. All of the toys belonging to/claimed by the eldest are on the left side of the room, and those of the youngest are on the right side. But sharing toys which they are not playing with is very difficult for my eldest, and a minor issue for the youngest.

For instance, my eldest will be playing with several of her toys, and the youngest will grab another toy which belongs to the eldest, and the eldest will drop everything and run screaming for the toy which she was not even playing with, and oftentimes didn't even have a clue existed in the previous moment.

The toys don't disappear and they are never taken away from her by anyone.

Similarly, they used to have the problem of wanting to play with whatever the other was playing with, regardless of whose toy it was or if it was generally preferred much less than the toy that they were playing with previously.

well, you see.
I just wanted to to point of the dangers of the "ego"!
I was interested to hear that young humans are considered parasites by some.
This is quite possibly the most offensive opinion I have ever heard.
And my reasoning is what on earth is the difference between "an adult human" and the children you call parasites.

oh so by the way, how do you exist without being a parasite?
It really intrigues me.
i must KNOW!

Homosexuality is considered genarally admissible (al teast by the liberal western world)

Incest (I am talking about one between two consenting adults who are related) is considered illegal.

Please don't read this as anything to do with my personal life. I am a straight man who is skeptical whether either of them are genetic traits.

I find homosexuality acceptable, but consider incest as disgusting.

Is there really any difference? Of course, having inbred children is not good for the society, but taking that fact out, are the two very different? Should we treat them completely differently and have completely different laws?

It isn't all our personal feeling and opinons (of disgust and acceptance of a certain practice) just influenced by society, specifically by certain individuals who can create that influence?

I am sure this is going to touch a lot of nerves!

I currently go to college and work. I live in a 2 room apartment and pay $100 rent for it, I spend very little money for food. I work about 10 hours a week which makes for monthly expenses of about $180 a month. I took low hours because I know 10 a week can support my minimal lifestyle. The minimal lifestyle is just temporary for college, I'm going to college for 2 years and when I get out will expand on expenses as well as income. For the time being i'm feeling alittle too minimal, should I? What can I do for myself to feel better? There are many things like fashion, style and for me outspoken / wellspoken behavior, but is there anything else I should be conscious about?

In Essex, girls are labelled as blonde haired bimbos with white stillettos and dancing around handbags whilst guys are chavs with spikey hair and loafers. Where did this stereotype come from. And are you guilty of being typically Essex?
