I currently go to college and work. I live in a 2 room apartment and pay $100 rent for it, I spend very little money for food. I work about 10 hours a week which makes for monthly expenses of about $180 a month. I took low hours because I know 10 a week can support my minimal lifestyle. The minimal lifestyle is just temporary for college, I'm going to college for 2 years and when I get out will expand on expenses as well as income. For the time being i'm feeling alittle too minimal, should I? What can I do for myself to feel better? There are many things like fashion, style and for me outspoken / wellspoken behavior, but is there anything else I should be conscious about?

It seems to be quite common as it is a temporary and chosen lifestyle.
Focus on your main goal and let the rest come alone. Start building your own social network, you need it now but more importantly you'll surly need such building skills later on!

Please take pride in using some self discipline to sacrifice some now for a better future. Remember the sense of accomplishment for each class you complete. Each class completed is one step toward your goal. I commend you for taking the effort to improve yourself. I have walked your trail and I assure you that you will grow from making this effort. If you have time, take some walks and think only about your breathing and walking. If you can avoid running up a lot of debt, you will be better off than most.

Congratulate yourself for being so self-disciplined. You are carefully pacing yourself now, putting your education first because you know the benefits of your sacrifice will come in due time. You should feel very proud of yourself. Don't let superficial-ism get its ugly hooks into you. You've determined that material things are not as important as your goals. Later, once you've reached your goal and have that high-paying job, you can reward yourself with fashions and whatever other "things" you desire. Good for you!
