Sociology - August 2006

I have no life, so the little joy i have is using a paki accent and dispute all my adult charges on my credit card. I especially find it amusing when they have to repeat where it was bought, the names of the videos, 1-900 numbers i use and stripclubs i attend. I go for as long as i can with my credit card company, i fight for little things such as seconds billed to the titles i rented. I ask about refunds, I love putting them on the spot. I tell them my american is no good and i like picking up big girls from macdonalds, that's why i use my credit card there

I'm so torn between what is right and what is fun? What would you do?

They don't pay you for what you are really worth in sociology, monetarily and not to mention they downplay social workers...they think that soc. work is the only thing you can do w/ the sociology major...and they say the soc. major never pays off... but the real question is why do they give sociology a title, the respect to become a major in sociology, if not maybe not no more than a minor, if they realize that sociology majors will never make real money like the lawyers, doctors, or businessman? Everyone goes to college so they can make more money than the average person who doesn't go to college and just decides to go directly out of high school and into the work world, so they can make more on average from non-college graduates...why would they sabotage a young person's vulnerability, and easily impressed nature, and lead them into the path of deception knowing that they would never make the money equal for the work they do? Why would they therefore ruin a person's entire life?

My teenage years was the must difficult time in my life. By the time I was 16, I had an abortion, I was sexually and physically abused by a family member. This all started when I was 11. and had been raped by someone I didnt know. I would love to give back to the community.This is why I would like to start a career in domestic violence. A friend of mine suffered abuse from the age of 5 until he was 14 (he is now 22) his abuser was his step father. He says he forgives his step father, but would never trust him again not even if he was cured. To be frank neither would I trust a paedophile no matter what they had done to be cured.
