Sometimes I do. I try to empty my mind of everything except for what I am trying to focus on and see if I get an answer. Sometimes it works.

Of course I think of all sorts of possiblities of what could be it is "hardwired " into our brains to thionk of a number of pssible out comes .
If we as humans did ot we would not be her typing on a PC at one time a CEO of IBM said someyhing al;ong the lines the he couild not possibly think of anything outher than the millitary or corpartions using a computer . he was wrong and aslo lost his job .
Steven Jobs did see a use for home pcs but made the mistake of not keeping the sorce code to his OS open
Bill gates Did keep the socer to MS Dos open and has gone on to become one of the wealtiest men in he world .
Note this is the very very short version . of PC History

All the time. By doing this if I can not see a purpose, future reason, etc then I think what/how I should do things to actually get to where I want to be in my life in that area. I do this with my job, relationships etc. No matter how much you enjoy something or love it... if there is no future, purpose, etc. with it, then you need to focus on what/where you do need to be. Otherwise, you are going no where getting there fast.

seeing the possibilities requires more than just knowledge, it requires imagination and an openness to what might happen, not just what will. that leap of faith will be rewarded if you allow for all the beautiful plausibilities that could occur. don't turn your back on any scenario, then you will be able to see beyond the moment.
