God will never be a myth. He was known to people even before the Pharaohs and Greeks came into existence and He is still not a myth to many people around the world. He is REAL and always will be! He can't die like the Pharoahs could.

God is a myth already. God didn't create humans, humans created god. God is what people praise or blame for things that they can't comprehend. People need god for comfort and to feel like there's a purpose for everything. God is convenient: god keeps people working even in lousy conditions with the hope that things will be better after leading a life of servitude and agony. Like Marx said, religion is opium to the people... or something along those lines.

Now don't go get upset over this, these are only my thoughts.

Likely the God concept will just evolve as it always has. Humans have an innate mental need to have a God concept in their lives so the idea will never die.
