If freedom of a slave cost you the life of yourself, would you free him?

PS: The slave is only 4 years old and if he is whipped by his master once more, he will die...

i would free the child...even though i am only 14, i would rather the child live, since it is so young, you know?

Well I am lost of the fact that people that are not ,well lets say mentally stable(they talk in circles and make no sense)are overly obbsessed or concerned of what I do on a daily basis and it may have something to do with race and the fact I am married verse they are not(at least thats what i hear)...

Why this ???

had an experience like this?
MY friend's aunt died when my friend was 7 of breast cancer. She had all these pins and gave them to my friend before she died. My friend (Grania) kept them on a hat. One day she was wearing the hat when walking in the woods with our other friend (Katy) who has diabetes. Suddenly Grania didn't know where Katy went. She listened for a whistle that Katy used a lot. That morning Katy didn't feel well so Grania was scared. She started running. Then she saw her aunt standing there pointing in the other direction. Grania went that way and found Katy fainted in a pile of puke, face down. Katy was minutes from dieing so Graniaused Katy's cellfone to call her mom.

A friend of mine, she's around 15, is having horrific nightmares. She won't tell me or anyone else what they are, and has only told me that she's having them, but they're causing her to stay up till sunrise, and wake up at 11 AM, because when she sleeps in this pattern, the nightmares don't afflict her. I'm really worried about her because she won't tell anyone else, because she doesn't want to worry anyone, so she hasn't asked about mental treatment. Is there anything that she could do to rid herself of this without alerting the attention of anyone else?

I know you'll tell me to tell her to tell her parents, we've already talked about that, it would be a good idea, but she won't do it.

When I was about 18 i pretty much dropped out of life. I stopped hanging out with people and I kept to myself. I didnt socialise really. I went to college(studying a subject I hated)I did some exercise, I went to bed. that was it. Id just stay in watching tv at wkends, so my life was a lonely one. Im only now starting to understand why I retreated from the world(im seeing a therapist)and ive been trying to get back into life. I went back to college to study a subject I like, ive taken up playing team sports again, I hang out with some people in college(instead of going off by myself). So im proud of the way ive turned things around. My only problem is dealing with people. Im having a hard time getting along with some folks. Group projects have been difficult. I seem to rub people up the wrong way and im just getting tired of feeling bad about myself for it. Im at the stage were i just wanna avoid people again to save myself the hassle. What do you guys think????

I am considered to be a very loving person and I have a big heart. I make freinds very easily and am liked by most people. My problem is that I cannot be friends with myself. What I mean by this is that I hate myself. I am depressed and rarly ever feel good about who I am. It is more than just depression and low self esteem. My ex girlfriend broke up with me 3 months ago and we no longer speak. My girlfriend made me feel good about myself (somewhat). I know that it shouldnt be that way but it was. After breaking up I started working out at the gym pretty much everyday (running and weightlifting.) At first I starting feeling good but now I am more down than ever. I know I am a great person and people are lucky to have me in their lives. I feel like my purpose in life is to be miserable while helping others feel good. Its like I am cursed. Sometimes i wish that i was never born. There must be a way to not feel so crappy ALL the time. what can I do?

I see that a lot of times, girls fall for a particular guy or particular kind of guy, who are excellent manipulators, or have a lot of skills at getting what they want. Why fall for a selfish jerk?

I do the gym alot because I enjoy it and it relieves aggression but why do I get so aggressive? When these little annoying things happen I normally just accept them but there is something that makes them all build up. I am also studying for my exams and I am getting really sick of it already and there is a month until I take my exams. What should I do?

I'm in the program and have done a lot of 12 step work and volunteer counciling.. I find myself for the first time in a position where I'm needed to help someone I'm involved with. Should I reccomend she seek her primary recovery help elsewhere? This person has never been in the program and resists it.

just ipotetical speaking, there are 3 ways to get to a woman`s heart and/or pants, deception(vision),seduction(emotion),and perception(surprise),or the 3 in one man.
women step out of this, don`t answer,i know what is your social programing, and how you go..
seduction isn't a good thing, becouse it is not myself, wearing a mask and getting a girl, and then getting back to me,vision maybe i have maybe i don't, i don't lay my succes on this.
and by perception,or by surprise..
