If freedom of a slave cost you the life of yourself, would you free him?
PS: The slave is only 4 years old and if he is whipped by his master once more, he will die...
i would free the child...even though i am only 14, i would rather the child live, since it is so young, you know?

There's a chance he might grow up to be a jerk, so if you know you're a good person, why take the chance on having a jerk take the place of a good person.
This answer is mean't to be a joke of sorts.

I'd die for the child, because it is the right thing to do, as a matter of fact I would die to free any slave no matter what age.

I, too would allow the child to live. I think, however, I would do my best to try to find a way to get myself and the child out alive. If I couldnt, then I would die before allowing someone to beat and kill a child of any race, religion,etc.

I might be hesitant if the child weren't going to die so that I could see the overall condition he has and the condition he'd have afterwards. With the child going to die, however, I would certainly die to free him. Human life is sacrosanct.

i would let it live to, i would not be able to go on with a normal life knowing i killed a 4 year old, i always feel bad when bad things happen but especially to little kids.
