I couldn't help but see the similarities. Take America as a case study. The increase in babies born by Caesarean Section started to occur round about the time more 'alien sightings' were reported. Other countries with far lower c-section rates have far fewer reports of alien abduction. The common story of 'bright lights, green men, bodily intrusions, being laid on a table...' Sounds like surgery to me!! It seems to me that many people's first view of the world is buried deep in their subconscious and comes out in them when they've had too much to drink/ have hit their head. What does everyone think of my theory?

most people think that as a girl my interests and ideas ,and hobbies are too abnormal-for example when they hear me telling that i'm a die hard fan of cricket , they almost sneer or mock at what i'm saying.
Unlike other girls, I hate watching serials and hanging around in housewifely stuffs.I love to be free and enjoy my own company . I want to be free of society that confines women within the walls of a home.
Does it mean that because i'm so different , there is a reason for me to change myself?

How can I stop getting people to call me a "sl*ut"?
Bullies from my old school yell that out at me everytime I see them out in public. Its been two years and I feel unsafe and self-conscious everytime I go out alone. I'm 17 and I've never been with a guy, been kissed or stolen someones boyfriend. I wear nice clothes that dont show much skin and i have boundaries, so I would never flirt with someone that is taken, or with a friends ex. I'm so sick of being yelled at and abused. I never reported it at the time, because no-one ever took me seriously, but I wish I could move on, but they just won't let me. What should I do?

Usually when I go to bed I gotta put off all the lights coz I'm the last one. Recently everytime I close my eyes in the dark, I start out with a good thought and think about things and so one, but then suddenly from no where a see a person with a burnt face, really ugly and in a black long cloth. It's really disturbing. Is there something wrong with me? Why do I keep seeing 'it'?

I easily write backwards with my left hand and have a few friends that do. How common is this trait overall? Any interesting studies done on it? I know mirror writing might be connected to seeing colors in music.

I don't necessarily have low self esteem. I get comments all the time about my looks and decent personality. Even still I have low confidence, not really sure why. I'm a completely different person when I feel confident too. I just want to know the most effective way to treat this?

I love English and I think it is better than Math for me because... in English you can develop speaking skills, you learn aobut art, literature, you can appreciate the beauty and culture of different countries. You can always articulate your thoughts and share them with others. In English I love curling up with an exciting novel and pretend to be in it... it's so fascinating! I learn about romance, adventure... it's so thrilling!!
In Math, I feel so bored like, I'm in some restraining order with the imaginary world. There's always an exact answer and so much rules and formulas. I am so "Mathaphobic" and not only that but there's nothing interesting about it for me. Sometimes I wonder why on Earth I need t know all that stuff.

Is it true that if your good in English, your somewhat weak at Math but if your good in Math, you dislike English?

I've had psychic abilities since I was 6. I'm now 28, and wonder if anyone out there could help me.

My main abilities (or powers) are Empathic, Clairvoyant and I'm a Psychic Feeler (as in I don't always get premonitions, I get feelings about the future)

I wish to develop these abilities for a future job helping others. Please, I ask that if you don't take me seriously, don't answer. Those who do give serious (and thoughtful) answers are appreciated.

J.K. Rowling claims that she avoids listening to music while working because it is destructing. I find it sometimes hard to concentrate on homework when the music is on, while I find doingother tasks more enjoyable while listening to music. Some top students rarely listen to music. In contrast, I find that many "average" students refuse to part with their iPods, and always have headphones on. Some people avoid listening to music because they believe that those who prefer listening to music during everyday tasks are afraid of thinking, and in effect are "escaping from thinking." What is your opinion on this? I understand music plays an important role in human development, but I haven't figured out what exactly is that role.

What effect does music have on concentration? Does music help you concentrate? What tasks do you find are best fitting to do while listening to music? Does the kind of music also matter (i.e., rock, classic, techno)?

Please give your thoughts on any of these issues

The dreams are extremely vivid, and sometimes violent. My lack of sleep is making me paranoid and it's becoming increasingly difficult to even leave my own room. I am unsure whether my mental health is deteriorating, but the last dream terrified me to an obscene extent. I dreamed that I bashed a hole in my little sister's skull with my elbow, and that image won't leave me. This is so scary. I dread lying down, because I don't know what images I will wake with. Please, if anyone knows how to make this better...I'm desperate.

Classically, women want a relationship while men just want a leg-over.
But surely, casual one night stands aside, sex between friends must have an emotional effect on both parties?
Is it not a mistake to think that one can have a sexual but non-emotional relationship?
