most people think that as a girl my interests and ideas ,and hobbies are too abnormal-for example when they hear me telling that i'm a die hard fan of cricket , they almost sneer or mock at what i'm saying.
Unlike other girls, I hate watching serials and hanging around in housewifely stuffs.I love to be free and enjoy my own company . I want to be free of society that confines women within the walls of a home.
Does it mean that because i'm so different , there is a reason for me to change myself?

NO! Girl im an archer im the ONLY woman archer in my STATE. Ive had a couple of people turn thier noses up at me when i tell them cause its not the "normal" womanly thing to be doing and a few of the men in my archery club still wont accept im a chick with a bow n arrow and i can shoot better than them and ill continue to do so! be who you are not what people think you should be, I rather be on my death bed knowing i lived my life and i wouldnt change a thing rather than wishing id done this or said that! In the end its you not them and be free and happy if they dont like you for you then too bad either they accept it or leave!!!

I'm a cricket fan too, and so is my sister. Liking cricket isn't wrong ( though if you are English it is embarrassing at the moment ). There are no rules that say you have to sit indoors watching soap operas and painting your toenails, so dont. Go out, have fun, dont worry. Most girls are more like you than you think!

People tend to get used to the stereotypes. That doesn't mean you should change! Quite the opposite, just be yourself and don't worry about what others think. You're bound to run into like minded people eventually.

Always remember, it is not important what others think of you. It is important what you think of yourself. What ever u understand and can conceive will always attract u. u can understand cricket that is why u have interest in it. No abnormality.

Dont change yourself. I as a female love video games and I'm in the military. Who ever doen't like it doent have to be my friend. Chances are they wouldn't be because i'm not a girly girl.
