Usually when I go to bed I gotta put off all the lights coz I'm the last one. Recently everytime I close my eyes in the dark, I start out with a good thought and think about things and so one, but then suddenly from no where a see a person with a burnt face, really ugly and in a black long cloth. It's really disturbing. Is there something wrong with me? Why do I keep seeing 'it'?

Damn, that has to be scary! In answer to your question, no there is probably nothing wrong with YOU, but there is definitely something wrong with the situation and I can't blame you for wanting to change it. Even if it isn't medical, or psychological, I would want that to stop too!

Is it just when you are in the dark? You can try a nightlight until you figure out what is going on.

Is it a hallucination?? Check any meds that you are taking and see if hallucinations are a side effect. NOTE: I am not assuming you are crazy, this is a physical thing that happens sometimes. My mother was no crazier than the average person, and one time she had a hallucination of bugs moving around on the table, what it was, was the woodgrain on the table...this happened from an antibiotic! If you think this is the case, contact your prescribing doctor or stop taking it if it is over the counter, immediately.

You can try manipulating the image in your head...try healing it, or melting it into something pretty, or putting funny underwear on it, or imagine something else chasing it away, or imagine an eraser or a magic wand to make it disappear.

Are you asleep or nearly asleep? There are ways to interpret your dreams, many of which are symbolic. Water means birth and creation, clocks mean time, spinning means overwhelm, storms mean conflict, etc. (these are among other things they can symbolize, it depends on the context of the dream) So you can look up burns, burnt faces, scars, etc until you find an appropriate answer to your dream that makes sense to you. Then you do something about what it represents in your life.

Even if you aren't asleep, since it is happening in an otherwise relaxed state, you can explore it as a dream and address the thing it is trying to reveal to you...see if it works.

well this might be the beginning of ocd, (obsessive thoughts or disturbing images), and i guess i would try to avoid turning the lights out all the way, if it bothers you. leave a nightlight on in the hallways and in your room. thats what i do, certainly seeing things in the dark, which i as obsessive compulsive have done, is not pleasant, and nightlights do not waste much energy. if it gets worse than this vision when you close your eyes, such as if you start to see things while your eyes are open, then we would be talking psychosis , possibly schitzophrenia, but it doesnt look like its thats bad so dont worry about that.

You obviously have something this entity wants. Whatever it is, you have to hand it over willingly, however. I know it sounds scary but if you face the entity head on and oppose it, it should back off and leave you alone. Usually spirits only hang around if they want something from us.
