I dont know if its deja vu'?
have you had experiences like mine you go to a place even foriegn and even find yourselves in certain situation and suddenly you swear that you have been there or experienced that situation in your life. feels like having lived sometime before

if it feels very weird and undeniably like it isn't the first time you've experienced something, then it's deja vu.

as to whether it really IS deja vu (the same again / "already seen"), and this is an experience you have experienced before, is unprovable and requires a leap of faith to explain it one way or the other.

attempts at explaining it rationally suggest that something may be mistakenly incoded in your long term memory before it is dealt with in the short term memory, so your brain tricks itself into 'remembering' something that perhaps you only saw for the first time a few seconds ago.

other people have suggested that what you are really remembering is a dream you once had, and that your brain makes a mistake and recalls it as a real event, though you know it never happened before.

if you suffer from seizures, epilepsy, scizophrenia, an anxiety disorder, or are a recreational drug user, you are more likely to report experiencing deja vu. this suggests that it may be due to some form of atypical brain function.

whatever the explanation, i think deja vu is kind of a cool experience. count yourself lucky- between one in five to one in three people report never having experienced deja vu in their lifetime.

Yes that is deja vu. You don't even have to travel anywhere, it can happen at anytime, anywhere. My father claimed he had went to a town once, that he had never been to before in his life, yet he knew where all the stores were, and there was a particular house he said he was attracted to, he knew in his heart exactly how the house was inside. I don't remember if he ever went in it or not.
