People used to think that those who stutter are slow and deficient, but that is not the case. People who stutter are often very talented, intelligent, and always hard workers. I have several uncles and cousins who stuttered until we found out about the Stuttering Foundation and got information on how to talk with them and help them. One cousin works on computers; two uncles are engineers. They are very quick learners and hard workers. Being gifted doesn't mean that you will stutter or vise versa, though.

Yes. I think there's even something in the Bible about Moses not being able to speak right, I think it was that he stuttered, and Aaron had to speak for him.

interesting observation i'd say. my bf is a computer nerd and he stutters so much especially during arguements. like the 1st dude said, fast brain slow mouth... makes perfect sense.
