i go to drug counceling & my therapist kept telling me that if i continue smoking, i will go crazy. i thought she was trying to use scare tactics to get me to stop smoking, but lately i've started hearing things & become convinced of strange situations like 1)i'm dead & in hell, repeating my life over & over & 2) the chinese delivery guy sneaking into my house and going to kill me & that he was outside my bedroom door (took me a like an hour to actually look & realize it wasn't true)

What are your general opinons of...?

babies, kids, teens, adults, and the elderly?

babies--innocent little things who have no clue about how dangerous and cruel the world is. All they see are their immidiate needs. They cry to get it cuz they don't know how else to. Known to be very selfish/self centerned. Psychology=just want what they want and need.

kids--older than babies, and smarter (sometimes). More developed brain capacity. Can talk (Converse), walk and do normal human basic tasks. Tend to go to school to learn and increase knowledge. Under supervision of parents.

teens--same but smarter and older. Under supervision of parents (most of the time). Reaches puberty, becomes and adolescence, and matures or goes in the process of sexual maturity. Roughly 13-17 years of age. Give or take one or two years 18-19.

Adults--Fully capable, and functioning beings of society. Able to better problem solve and multi task. Supposedly responsible and "mature". notice how I said supposedly. They mostly become parents 2.

Elderly—they have a lot of wisedom people say. They are weak physically however. They are mostly grandparents. They are between the ages of 60 + and get all types of benefits and senior discounts. But the discounts usually starts at the age of 55 legally. Some are still strong, but most of the time, they are old TIMERS and their bodys aren’t as strong as adults.

I feel horrible. When ever i'm around my best friend I tend to be super serious and more moody, and I get sick of her so easily. Me and her have been friends since like 8th grade and for the past year now i've found myself more angry and blah around her.

I mean 24/7 she is always complaining about something or whining about something. Everday she is tired...yes I get that but she doesn't need to say it 20times a day. And that's all she does, complains about little things over and over again Carrying books, tired, psychology homework(for an example today,we have to read 3pages and she's been complaining about it since)

i've told her that she needs to stop complaining about little stuff like that and she's like THIS IS HOW I AM YOU NEED TO LEARN TO ACCEPT ME. I was just telling her that there is so much worse things in the world. She just doesn't get it at all. I'm 16 years old, she's the same age as me.

In first grade my teacher constantly caught me daydreaming and eventually moved me away from the class window. I have always been very random, but daydreaming takes up so much of my time and I dont mean it to. I get caught up in little details or futuristic dreams for hours, or just staring at a test review that I cant manage to actually study for more than 20 min. I have brought up that I think I should be tested for ADD cause I feel through research that I fit all the criteria, yet my mom thinks of it as a handicap. I just finished my first semester and did poor in grades because I feel I can never focus. How do I convince my mom or do I do it on my own? I know that I need help and I believe ADD medication will fix my problem. Where do I go to get tested? thank you so so so much!

Since early adolescence, I have had dreams that are like short film clips (like previews at the movies) and then I recall dreaming this while it is happening in real life. I have even dreamt of talking to people who I have yet to meet until weeks later. I never recall the dream until the "scene" is unfolding in "real life". My daughter now has begun to have these dreams also. Has anyone else had this experience?

Why do so many of my dreams look washed-out when it comes to color? I mean, some of them are in normal, vibrant color, but the rest look like… I don’t know, like someone spilled grey paint on it and couldn’t wipe it off all the way. (I’ve got it! Like someone used the grey sponge on a picture in Adobe Photoshop,… but most people aren’t familiar with that program) Anyways, I tried a dream website but it wasn’t much help. Any idea what’s going on?

I am loosing the man I love, because he says I have an anger issue. When I get my feelings hurt, or I fear something negative in the relationship and even frustration can set me off. I don't hit or push or throw things, it is all verbal. I try not to cuss and swear, but I can get very crass and blatant verbally. How can I over-come this. I have tried, but he has become so sensative to my reaction to things, that he feels that even if I raise my voice (probably more an attitude) that I'm becoming angry. HELP!!!!

I have a ladie friend that is living in an apartment on her own. She is in her mid 30's. The problem she is having is the person next door is playing the music all night long and it is making her very ill from lack of sleep. It's been going on for three years. Last year her mother has been diognosed with cancer. She has to travel 30 miles to help her. She goes down 3 times a week by train. She has tried the following:

Called police
Asked the nieghbours
Called management
Told him to turn the noise down

None of these worked keeping in mind she tried more than once with each. She said she can't afford to get soundproof walls or get someone out to record the noise. She still lives there because it's the only place she can afford to do her College Courses. I have no idea what to do. She's always calling and texting me. I care for her well being and I want to help. But I have no idea what to do.

What can worrying/stressing out do to test scores (like medically how do they affect them)? What can one do to relax/stop worrying before taking a test? What are some easy things that can improve test scores (like besides studying xP)?

Kind of important/urgent. I have a friend who is taking a huge test tomorrow morning and she is completely and utterly stressed/worried and i know that these will only hurt her but I dont know how to help her =(
