~Maybe they have higher expectations from you?~

When you do things for friend and family do you throw it in their face everytime you get a chance? Do you make them feel worthless and not worthy of the things that you do for them? Do you show them any compasion when they are going through a problem or crisis? I hope that is not the case. If it is I know how they feel, because that is the way that i'm being treated right now and it doesn't feel good.

I'm the same way. I'm a bit of a loner and I found out through some honest conversation with some good friends that it intimidates people. My arguement was that I help whenever I'm asked and I get the same reaction.

I wished I could help more.

Don't help people who don't ask for it, unless they're in imminent danger of pain or injury, or you'll just be perceived as butting in.
