What are your general opinons of...?

babies, kids, teens, adults, and the elderly?

babies--innocent little things who have no clue about how dangerous and cruel the world is. All they see are their immidiate needs. They cry to get it cuz they don't know how else to. Known to be very selfish/self centerned. Psychology=just want what they want and need.

kids--older than babies, and smarter (sometimes). More developed brain capacity. Can talk (Converse), walk and do normal human basic tasks. Tend to go to school to learn and increase knowledge. Under supervision of parents.

teens--same but smarter and older. Under supervision of parents (most of the time). Reaches puberty, becomes and adolescence, and matures or goes in the process of sexual maturity. Roughly 13-17 years of age. Give or take one or two years 18-19.

Adults--Fully capable, and functioning beings of society. Able to better problem solve and multi task. Supposedly responsible and "mature". notice how I said supposedly. They mostly become parents 2.

Elderly—they have a lot of wisedom people say. They are weak physically however. They are mostly grandparents. They are between the ages of 60 + and get all types of benefits and senior discounts. But the discounts usually starts at the age of 55 legally. Some are still strong, but most of the time, they are old TIMERS and their bodys aren’t as strong as adults.

"WEll, I can tell you know nothing at all about senior citizens. And, by the way, 60 is not considered elderly.

May I suggest you do your homework."

what's your proof that I didn't DO my homework? And for your information this wasn't my homework, it was just a "Fun" thing for me. And my text did not inculde the elderly.

To everyone, this is a "general" thing that I have learned through my 22 year old life and from my psychology text. I didn't say anything negative about seniors and the eldery, it's just facts. It's my opnionated facts, and really I was looking for a difference answer, not people telling me whether my observations were wrong!

Lyn K, yes, you are the exception and so are many others. Notice that this was only a "generalization". An avarage thing, where the average Joe is a par with his life.

To the first answer, I really want to say how dare you insult my intelligence about Senior Citizens. I've probably been around them more than you have. And I know senior discounts generally start at 55 because I have alot of relatives 55+ so shutup!

I'm sick of hearing nothing but negativity around this site. And I bet I'm not only one who notices. Bye now, I reported you for "insulting other participants". I haven't even used that button in a while, but thanks for reminding me it's still there!

I'll say something positive since the first answer was quick to judge and point out that you were "WRONG" about something. Actually, much of what you said was true and made alot of sense.

You start feeling old around 65 or so, even if you take very good care of yourself, the wear and tear on the body can be very noticable. I work in a nursing home part time as a CNA, and even if they feel fit and healthy, there are times where the body breaks down easier due to the brittleness of bone not getting enough calcuim, the stress of daily living and the loneliness they can acquire once they've entered old age.

elderly grandparents?my husband was a grandparent at 37,and one of my friends was a grandparent at 33.as for being physically weak, depends on genetics and how u take care of urself.my 96 year old farm great-aunt used to tend 2 gardens and chop wood.she wore me out,and i was in my 20's.life cycles are so different now, from those old stereotypes.if my husband and i have a baby,it would be younger than his 10 yr old grandson.u kinda cant generalise anymore.a family friend just got his private pilots liscence.he's 71.my mom worked 40 hours a week till age 75,and there is nothing "physically weak" about her, shes stronger than i am.
