I don't see how it's exactly deja vu since that has happened to me. I used to write all my dreams down when I woke up and two times the exact things I had written down came true later that day. I had ALREADY written them down. I have no friggin idea how that possibly happened.

(these were unexpected things, not like I had made plans beforehand and then had a dream about the plans...)

Deja vu, huh? Actually, sometimes you do see someone or something, somewhere. [on the street, in a cafe or in a brochure], but you just don't remember it, because you were consiously doing something else. However whenever you are doing something, there are things that your subconsious mind records that your consious mind doesn't notice. This is also how dreams are made. [subconsious mind putting together memories that you don't know you remembered into a dream]
You probably saw the person somewhere, but didn't notice, although you subconsious mind did.
You meeting them a day or two later is just a coinsidence.
