I just need some help to try and understand why I am always thinking that my girlfriend is cheating on me.

I am single at the moment and I have had one serious girlfriend last year. But whenever I was with her I felt that she was cheating on me. It is the same when I have other short-term girlfriends. I don't tell them that I think they are cheating but it is always in the back of my mind. I was bullied at school when I was younger and I'm not sure if that is a factor but I would really like some help with this situation.

I've been thinking about posting this on yahoo for a couple of weeks now and I hope you lot can come up with an answer for me.

Many thanks

I've seen some TERRIBLE poets and artists that think they're very great. I can't help but think that rearing may have played a hand. I guess that just telling your child that they're great all the time isn't the answer, either.

What are some situations that will affect a person's view of themself later on, and how should they be approached?

I am taking a intro. to psych class so this isn't a really big deal, but of course I have no ideas on what to write on. It is a 3 page reflection paper with some of my views incorporated in it. Please don't just say, choose what interests you... I am looking for other peoples opinions on what they would want to see. Thanks.

I am a fan of zombie films, and there are quite a few people who like films which revolve around the concept of zombies. A film about space travel or time travel preys upon people's desire to travel in space or back in time. What is it about zombie films? Do zombies represent our view of other people? Some films concentrate on the fear aspect e.g. 28 Days Later or Resident Evil whilst other films have more of a comedy aspect e.g. Shawn of the Dead. So, its not all to do with adrenalin and fear.

It is speaking about; throughout the lifelong process of growth, our development is guided by two major factors--genetic predispositions and opportunity to learn and to interact with the world around us. A newborn is vulnerable to neglect or mistreatment and remains totally dependent on others for many years. After the infants 1st year, development appears to slow but becomes increasingly diverse and multifaceted. Kohlberg viewed morally immature individuals are concerned only for themselves. He also emphasized moral reasoning, a perspective that links morality with cognitive capacities. Children 9 & under are classified as preconventional, 9 & older is conventional & young teens are postconventional. The other theorists are Piaget, Erikson, and Gilligan. I believe grief is good. We all need to explore the nuisance or enemy, by going through our pain and finding our inner strength. We won't forget the ones we lose, we must find closure so we can remember them without the pain and be happy.

If I am staring off into the distance thinking, why does everyone want to stop me from doing this? What is so offensive about thinking?

I am not sure what to believe as far the three categories of child-parent attachment. My children definitely fall into the secure attachment group, but it is toward both my wife and I. I have 3 and 5 year old, I am extremely involved in there lives and extremely affectionate, due to how I was raised. I hate that it is always assumed that this is the mothers place; I don’t think there should be any distinction. My children come to me and my wife rather for a simple hug or a cup of juice. You sometimes see kids that are attached to there mother and throw a fit when they are not with them; that would break my heart as a father. The lecture just made me thinks about my children and how important it is that I continue to do my all to raise them. My children mean everything to me, so anytime I read something that makes me reflect on parenthood it is a positive.

i have big lips and i get mixed views. i'm going through the i'm ugly phase which i really want to get over but it's really hard. everyday i'm self conscious and i mean everyday it doesn't matter what is done to my hair or what i'm wearing i always have this feeling on the inside that never goes away. my bestfriend and family say i shouldn't care what others think but i know if i thought i looked good i wouldn't care less. it seems at school i always feel really uncomfortable and it's only gotten worse over the last years....people think they understand but they really don't seeing that their not me. big lips can be good to some and ugly to others and it doesn't make the person ugly because they have big lips i just wish i was confident and see the cuteness that my aunt swears up and down that i am

i ask this because i have had some weird things happen to me like one time i had msn messenger running and i walked into the kitchen to get me a drink. now my computer speakers were turned of and it was in my room. well when i was walking back to my room i thought i heard the "someone just logged in sound" and i was like whoa. when i walked into my room and looked at my computer someone else was logged in that wasnt when i went to get my drink. Also sometimes i think about what might happen in the future (like a few days or hours in the future). well sometimes what i think actually happens and it has this insane feeling of deja vu. if there is a way to tap into psychic abilities i really want to know

I dont know where to put this so im putting it in psychology

lately I have been having horrible dreams that bad things are happening to people I care about. I never had nightmares before, adn I don't know why I am getting them now. It is bothering me so much, I have this bad feeling all day like something terrible is going to happen. How can I get a decent night's sleep without waking up from these dreams?

As a teenager, I went through a stage that ended up with me getting into trouble with the law. I got caught, served the sentance, and as a result changed my behaviour very much for the better.

Since then I have led a responsible and happy life. I do not want to trivialise my past actions, but they were hardly the most serious acts of criminal behaviour and did not cause suffering to other people.

Now, 20 years later, feelings of guilt about what I did have returned, along with nightmares in which I did not reform but continued down the path that I was heading and getting very much worse.

Why might this be?
