By following up on topics of interest. I read a lot and find things that I want to know more about, so i then do research until I'm satisfied. For example, last week I watched a movie mcalled Mutiny on the Bounty. I became interested in finding out more about Captain Bligh. I then spent a couple of hours researching online about various aspects of the ship, the captain, the other people, where it happened, etc.. I do this frequently and I think that it increases intelligence. Reading is the other source of intelligence. People who read for pleasure are better at conversation and better getting their ideas across than those who do not read.

reading!

Read as much as you can about as many subjects as you can. Then understand the relationships between the topids you researched. This will increase intelligence a great deal.

Then discuss topics and ideas with others. Try this site, it is great for back and forth discussions. Yahoo lacks that part a bit.

IQ's are pretty stable, unless you practice the IQ test...you can get a better score, but that's cheating! But you can become more educated, which is improving your achievement.
