No. You can move to another city, or to even another country. Usually problems are local, and it helps just to go away from where you are.

Have you thought about how you might commit suicide, looked into alternatives and methods? If so, then you're serious.

If you are that deep down the tunnel, I can imagine it's hard to see any light at the end, or imagine that things might change or that you might feel different.

If you are asking this question here, I could also guess that you haven't had anyone else to talk to. Life must be a lonely, sad and dark place for you.

I don't believe that suicide is the only route. But to take the alternative may require a huge amount of effort on your part, you will have to be prepared to look at your life, what is making you mad, and to go to therapy.

Do you want to do this?

It would be a sad waste of your individual talents that you bring to the world if you take the suicide option.

If your life sucks THAT bad - then it can only get better, right? . . .and if you don't like your life - YOU are the only one that can change it. Suicide is cowardly. It is in times of suffering that we grow the most and come out the other side a better, stronger, wiser person. Have faith! But if this is not just a hypothetical question and you are seriously considering suicide: please seek help as soon as possible. Talk to a doctor, pastor, friend, family member and tell them you need help. It could be as simple as a chemical imbalance in your brain and the correct medication can help along with therapy.

Not usually no.

Suicide is usually a permanent solution to a temporary problem.

Perhaps we could give you a lightly more meaninful answer if we knew what was making life suck so much at the monute - and what would need to change to make it suck less - or for some good things to help make things more bearable.

Suicide is a permanent answer to a temporary situation. A friend of mine told me that when I was going through a very bad time in my life....and she was right. You can't fix everything at once, it will overwhelm you if you try....just get through one day at a time. I know that sounds a bit trite, but it does work.

Suicide is never the answer. Stop and think about your life. Maybe it is just time for a change, or you just need to think about the good things in your life.

It's the only route to ensure that you'll never find a solution to your issues. If you're interested in change, interested in a solution - you need to reach out to people and find someone to help you through it. If you never saw the Christmas movie "It's a Wonderful Life" you really should. You make a bigger difference to the world than you realize.

Are you in chronic pain? No?
Do you have a roof over your head? Yes?
Do you get fed everyday? Yes?

Then i'd suggest being thankful that you're not on the street homeless this winter and learn to deal with life's challeges a little better. If need be, get on some Zoloft or something.

Suicide is cowardly.

No; its a permanent solution to a temporary problem. When my brother in law committed suicide, my 6 year old said "mommy, he didnt mean to do it did he? He made a mistake!" Yes, trust kids to put things in perspective.

never. it may seem like it, but you touch so many people's lives in ways you have no idea. think what would happen if you were gone. just a kind word or smile could trigger a train of events that could end up saving someone's life. (not kidding this happened to me) so save someone's life by saving your own. if you need to talk, my e-mail is mikkiborza@hotmail.com
