i ask this because i have had some weird things happen to me like one time i had msn messenger running and i walked into the kitchen to get me a drink. now my computer speakers were turned of and it was in my room. well when i was walking back to my room i thought i heard the "someone just logged in sound" and i was like whoa. when i walked into my room and looked at my computer someone else was logged in that wasnt when i went to get my drink. Also sometimes i think about what might happen in the future (like a few days or hours in the future). well sometimes what i think actually happens and it has this insane feeling of deja vu. if there is a way to tap into psychic abilities i really want to know

I dont know where to put this so im putting it in psychology

If you take a moment to think back and reflect on the turning points in your life: whom and when you married, the milestones of your career, or even where you went to college, ask yourself how you knew they were going to be successes or disasters. How and when did they happen? Whether you planned out your path carefully, or whether you stumbled upon them by trial and error, there are few things that we all have in common. We have all experienced what it's like to have an outcome so different from what you expected it to be. We also have had some feelings before the situation came to pass that determined whether we were happy or not with a choice that we made. These responses were powerful enough to make us stay or leave.

Most of the times when we make decisions, we adapt and grow from what we learn and then continue to move forward, but sometimes, events are not only different from what was expected, they are also very painful. People gifted with psychic ability claim that pain can either enhance your intuitive development or impede it, depending on the way you reacted to the pain.

Your intuition is always gathering data from collective wisdom and experience. It relays messages to your consciousness about how and when to proceed. Each individual responds to that sort of intuitive information in his own unique way. For example, you can choose to go to a college but then find out that your miserable there. Had you listen closely to your intuition before you made that decision final, you would have heard it communicating to you that that was not the right place. Other people feel "stuck" with a decision, while others will pick up and leave right away and still others will adapt and find different ways to work it through.

While not everyone is clairvoyant, many people believe that all of us have the gift of intuition. It is useful to reflect on how you've responded to painful moments in your life and remember how you felt before that pain happened. Writing down your actions can help reflect on how intuition tried to communicate to you before you made decisions on some of the most important events of your life.

Divide the paper into three parts. In the first part, write down the information you knew before you made the decision. In the second part, recall how you felt about the situation that no one had to tell you. Remember your gut feelings or pieces of information that you just happen to know internally. And on the third part, write down on the course of action that you took. Do this for about three to four major events of your life and try to spot a trend in the kind of intuition that is strongest in you.

Some people find that they have physical intuition. They physically feel emotions about situations. They just know when to step out of danger or slow down even before they encounter the threat. Other people see an emotional trend. They are gifted with emotional intuition that enables them to have strong feelings about people just by meeting them. They are also good at "reading" people and their emotions. Other people find that they have mental intuition. They can sense positive energy and other people and just happen to know something that they never would've known had the used the usual channels. Still, other people have the gift of spiritual intuition. These people feel guided by a higher force and easily understand the role of coincidence and synchronicity in their lives. Determine which is your intuition type and don't be afraid to tap into it more. You will need to develop that intuition with a lot of trust and practice every time you are faced with a decision to make. You will soon find out that your inner voice will lead you to the right decisions and will help you avoid a lot of meaningless pain in the future.

I believe we are all psychic, but for the majority the gift or the belief has been long knocked out of them. Educated out is another way of looking at it. Many professional psychics have grown up in a psychic friendly environment. Perhaps a grand-parent or parent with the knowledge has helped bring the extra sense out in the open and encouraged its use. But there are as many practicing psychics who have not had the benefit of caring psychic guidance and who have still managed to develop and hone this natural extra sense.
