i have big lips and i get mixed views. i'm going through the i'm ugly phase which i really want to get over but it's really hard. everyday i'm self conscious and i mean everyday it doesn't matter what is done to my hair or what i'm wearing i always have this feeling on the inside that never goes away. my bestfriend and family say i shouldn't care what others think but i know if i thought i looked good i wouldn't care less. it seems at school i always feel really uncomfortable and it's only gotten worse over the last years....people think they understand but they really don't seeing that their not me. big lips can be good to some and ugly to others and it doesn't make the person ugly because they have big lips i just wish i was confident and see the cuteness that my aunt swears up and down that i am

I think big, full lips are very attractive, more so than thinner lips. Your just going through an awkard phase right now. You can be confident but it starts w/ your opinion of yourself not what other's think of you. Understand that being beautiful doesn't mean being perfect. People can say they understand because everyone I know whether they admit it or not has gone through the same phase and feelings your experiencing right now. I guess what I'm saying is you'll grow out of it, hell I was out of my teens before I got over my awkwardness.

You do realize that many women pay lots of money to have painful collagen injections to get lips like yours?
The truth is there is no real standard of beauty. Almost no women know this but many men are starting to figure it out.
No matter what you look like, roughly the same number of people will be attracted to you. With one caveat.....as long as the thing about you does not reflect something wrong with your character.
Examples. It doesn't matter if you are tall or short or have blonde hair, brown hair or even green hair. It does not matter if you have large breasts, small breasts, long hair or short, straight curly or kinky. It does not matter if the color of your skin is white, brown, black or olive or anything else. Roughly the same number of people will be attracted to you.
It does not matter how you dress. Relaxed or formal, preppy, girly, or punk or kinky. Same thing.
It does most certainly matter however if you dress and act like a slob. Do you act like a fool in public? Mistreat people. Do you smoke or do drugs or drink alot? Do you smell bad because you don't bathe? When you open your mouth to speak, do ignorant things come out? These things are universally unattractive.
Pay less attention to things you can't change and don't matter like your lips, babe. Pay attention to if you are picking your nose and wiping it on the wall when that cute guy is around. One of these things is important. The other is not.

you know i was the same way i have large lips and felt like everyone was staring at it. In high school you might feel that way it is the most akward, things but in time i've learned to love them and along the way others have as well. But as long as you learn to love it that's all that matters. Besides women are out here trying to get collagen lips with the big pouty look. Now that'll be one less chemical in your body!lol!

There are girls who pay a LOT of money for big lips. You have naturally what they have to pay for.
Don't worry, everyone goes through an awkward phase. It may not seem very nice right now, but take it from another girl with big lips, eventually? Everyone wants a taste. :)

No. Mine definitely aren't thing...(im black too =) I've heard it makes you a good kisser but I wouldn't know. Yet. and take a peek at makeup models..they have full lips. Now people like Loyd Banks...his are too big but thats just for his face. I'm sure yours are fun and pretty (=

No, to me big lips are always very sensual and sexy.
Look at Naomi Campbell, she was one of the most famous black supermodels in the world, thanks to her big lips!
Also with Angelina Jolie.... Thanks to her big lips that made her become Lara Croft. And made the famous Brad Pitt wanna have a child from her, not from poor Aniston.
Be proud of your big lips... cuz surely they could bring you so many great advantages, as long as you know how to expose it well.

Next time you're in class look around at everyone else. I guarantee they ALL feel the same way you do. Act confident in how you look and who you are and people will admire you.

ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG. some ppl REALLY ARE just jealous. i'm envious. i have fairly thin lips. i'm pretty happy, though. i know that i'm a good person and that's all that matters.
