You have what they call a "sixth sense" even if you might not know it. It is a gift that few and far between share. When you smell death, tell it to go away in the name of Jesus.

What do you do for a living? And where were you at when you smelled death. There are a lot of people who can't handle either the sight or smell or both of death. Cancer has a specific smell and so do the terminally ill. It does not mean there is anything wrong with you. I know a lot of people in my profession, the first time they were around it they got sick to their stomach. Some people even got really sad and couldn't be around it. Your not alone and if you have to be around it for work, (i hate to say it) but you will get use to it. The only other thing I could say is to consider your own feelings about death and be careful. It can lead to depression. Other than that it is COMPLETELY normal.

Nevermind the ignorants. You obviously have a sixth sense. Pay close attention to the smell and listen to what is going on in your mind when you smell it. You are receiving a message from someone who has crossed over and they want to communicate with you. Did you have anyone in your family that has crossed over have particularly bold body odor? If so, it could be he or she.

My guess is that the body's chemistry changes as the person is starting to die. I'm guessing you aren't talking about the body letting go of its fluids but the days before it actually happens.

I won't go near bad accidents because I can sense death and it is an unsettling experience. Not the smell, just a sensation that grips me. It doesn't happen all the time but enough.

Umm... Call the psyhics to see if they can find dead bodies in your walls or in your basement or somethin. :-|

I'm wondering how you think it's death you're smelling. Does your family work in a morgue? Perhaps they're bringing the smells home...

If you can seriously smell death then I want to stay as far away from you as possible!

If you are pulling a prank, never mind.

If you are not, consider talking to a doctor about smelling odd smells. Sometimes, it means you have a brain disorder or tumor.

You're smelling something; I'm sure. But it isn't death. I'm double sure on that.
