I'm reading a psychology book about the subject and was wondering what people think about this?
The book claims environment and society are the main factors to someone became violent, without society values and with no respect for life of others.

One of the effects of these eating disorders is your brain is starved and no longer can process information in the same way as a brain functioning at a 'normal' level. The same can be said when a person is on drugs/alcohol.
Why do we, (the public) keep asking these ill people to answer the question as to whether they recognize their illness.

Sometimes I 'll dream about meeting a person for the first time, and then about a year later,I'll meet them exactly like I did in my dream.I 'll also dream about going somewhere new,and a few months later I'll be there.I have always found this rather strange, and I was just wondering if it is common.

interested in something for very long. I've dozens of hobbies which I never got past being skilled at it. I'm a job hopper and I start something else without finishing something at hand.I buy and borrow books every week but never finish them. What is wrong with me????????????? It has a detrimental effect on my life that my parents think I'm a failure. I hate being this way but I can't help it.

I just don't understand that. A guy was just here and he was saying that his mother is 88 yrs old. He said SHE'S lucky to still be alive. How is that lucky? She can hardly see, bearly hear, gets along rather slowly and painfully at that. Why do people say it's luck to be alive when the living conditions are poor at best?
What's so great about being here? My alternative is heaven. Once I am gone I'll be in heaven. It doesn't get any better than that. Help me to understand what makes some people so darn glad to be here. Everywhere I look, I see pain and misery, suffering and hardship, struggles and turmoil. My husband says "I'm thankful God allowed me to live another day". Why? So you can work from sun up to sun down to pay bills. So you can feel the arthritis in your knees and back some more. So you can deal with more rude people. So you can be tired and out of breath easily. It's a steady routine of the same thing day in and day out. Work, work, work. Behind with the bills. Body pain

I want to hear from any of you who had to be in a daycare facility as a child. Did you like it really? Did you feel abandoned or left behind? Did it make you angry inside.....if so, why?

I know people who mostly work and play sports and/or have another hobby. And they seem totally satisfied with that. I am not fulfilled by simple things like that, which just seem like time fillers to me. I expect a lot of meaning from life, which may be unhealthy, but I don't know how to change that about myself. I'm way too deep, and it causes me a lot of pain. How can I stop being that way?
