I think your idealism of life itself is a little odd. You seem to have great knowledge on the facts of science, but not the facts of life in general. Maybe your mind is strayed away from the aptitude of justice. Maybe your ideas of harmony aren't about studying different maths. There are many approaches to the simplest things, it's just a matter of bringing it to detail on the outside level. Think of someone with no gratitude toward the maths in general. Studying only helps when your thinking of the easy stuff. You need to take a break from the elementary school maths and enjoy the broad issue of algebra itself. Do not short yourself on time, my friend.

Funny how that works, isn't it? The last Math class I was required by law to take was basic Math in 10th grade, which I failed miserably at. In fact, while most of the other students had graduated on to Algebra in the 8th grade, I was still trying to cope with the basics.

At age 20 I got an entry level job on a Land Surveying crew. Land Surveying is heavily dependent upon Geometry and Trigonometry. By the time I was 26, I had professional licensure in 3 states as a Surveyor!

My belief is that the way Mathematics in general is taught is flawed. Why would we have so many "normal" students moving on to higher forms of study, while at the same time we have so many people in this country who can't even balance their checkbook?

Calculus continues to be math, even though it demands brand spanking new techniques and new techniques, yet on a similar time makes use of "regular math". It solutions questions that "regular math" would have a complicated time answering. as an occasion, what's the optimal fee of a functionality, what's the portion of an ellipse or another discern with curved barriers whose equation is wide-unfold. it particularly is geared up on 2 substantial techniques: the by-product and the critical, that are certainly inverse operatioins on applications. Calculus is in all hazard between the finest besides as functional branch of arithmetic. additionally, it particularly is the gateway to numerous so observed as "bigger math".

I am going to assume your elementary school teachers rate lower than your calculus and algebra teachers when it comes to teaching skill.
