They wear sexy, suggestive, provocative clothing at the workforce or in public, then get so angry and b!tchy when guys hit on them or check them out. They then file sexual harrassment charges when their practically ASKING to be sexually harrassed if their dressing like that.

Seriously, why do they wear these things if they don't want to draw attention to themselves?

Is it because of the sexual harrassment charges they would press and the money they could possibly get out of it? Figures.

I'm wondering if anyone else has noticed this, or if it just seems to be happening around my neck of the woods.

My friend told me he was going to go see a friend he hadn't seen in 6 months. Back then, the guy was going through a breakup, so he was anxious to see if he was feeling better. Well- surprise!- turns out he's now married to a new girl, and they have a baby on the way. All in 6 months.

I myself can think of about 4 people I personally know who have either married, or become pregnant, or both, with someone they've known for 6 months or less, and everyone seems to be talking about how this is happening a lot.

Has anyone else noticed this? And if so, any theories as to why this is happening?

How would feminists feel if these adverts were swapped (i.e. portrayed men as ' the superior sex' and claim that 'men are more rational than women' etc.)?

Or, this one - showing women as sows and the men as... well, as men?

Is abortion fair on the child? It will never know life. And as someone once astutely observed "it is interesting to note that people who advocate abortion are people who are living."

A mother does not "own" her foetus and the foetus is not part of her body, the foetus is clearly a separate entity. The mother is the "host" and she bears the foetus as a trustee. All informed opinion supports this view.

I have also noticed a sort of "possessive" attitude in many mothers of young children, particularly with feministic women. A child is so often erroneously referred to by its mother as "my child", rarely as "our child". Yes, a mother does nurture and give sustenance to her children but they are clearly not her personal property.

From the Baptist Press:
"A full-page ad in USA Today voiced the affirmation of 131 evangelicals to the Southern Baptist Convention that "you are right!" in holding forth the Bible's teachings on marriage.
"At a time when divorce is destroying the fabric of our society, you have taken a bold stand for the biblical principles of marriage and family life. We thank you for your courage," the ad stated. The ad also appeared in the Aug. 22 (1998) issue of WORLD, an evangelical magazine based in Asheville, N.C.
The ad was initiated by Dennis Rainey, executive director and co-founder of the FamilyLife ministry division of Campus Crusade for Christ.
Among those signing the USA Today affirmation are Franklin Graham, of Samaritan's Purse ministry, and Anne Graham Lotz, of AnGeL Ministries, two of evangelist Billy Graham's children; Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee and his wife, Janet; Prison Fellowship founder Charles Colson & his wife, Patty; and Campus Crusade founders Bill and Vonette Bright."

Over forty women have been killed and their mutilated bodies found with notes warning against "violating Islamic teachings" for the 'crime' of not wearing traditional dress and scarfs. (See AP article linked below.)

Is there anything women in the West can do to help the opposed Women in the East? Do you care, or do you think that we have no right to interfere with what goes on on foreign soil? Do you think that it helps or hurts to have western feminist groups to put the spotlight on cases like this?

Men will refuse to join the military for the next 200+ years, as men now want equality -- just as feminists supposedly want. So now the fems can die in the front line.

How many milliseconds will pass before the enemy is victorious?

Being a tall female (I'm 5'11), I’ve gotten a lot of flak for it over the years. I was wondering why it is that women will wear heels that obviously makes them taller, but if a woman is naturally tall some people make a big deal out of it. I just found this interesting. Besides that, I don’t go around saying to people in public that they’re fat, ugly, short, or whatever. Why is it such a big deal that a woman is tall?

I have been reading a lot of yahoo 360 pages and there seems to be an overwhelming number of men willing to submit to a woman's dominance. Now, granted, the sexual aspect is usually 99% of that willingness, I'm sure; but, I get the distinct impression that there is more to it. Anyone want to school me?

women do not have life easy.
Everything falls on us.
We get everything 10 times harder.
What do you think women should do to empower ourselves more?

We are being look down on. Because we are weak (naturally), emotionally, soft, abused, stripper, sex object, guy go with girl they can have sex with <---- stupid to me. B/c I am a virgin.

(some males ) People are scared to but them on some jobs because they can't handle the stress..

I just want to hear some opinions on this. What can we do as a whole.

Why is it. When guys have sex or have a lot of girlfriend or whatever get praise on. But when a girl just have sex two or even once a 5lut or h0e and look down on?

whether Feminism was around or not? That's if you truly despise Feminism.
If Feminism just magically disappeared, would you think that things would radically change to be in your favour if you're a man?
What would you think would happen in society?
No fairy-tale answers needed, just honest answers.

It seems so illogical. In order to have the all-female schools you desire, it follows that the boys will have to go to a school of their own. Your outrage makes no sense.

This point has come up before on this forum, so I'm curious about peoples opinions.

If there were to be a draft in the near future, do you think women should be called to service just like men?

Now having served in the military myself, I can say that I am very anti-draft. I don't agree with it and hope and pray that a draft will NOT be called any time in the future. I've been to war and I know I would not be pleased to fight next to a draftee. Just my opinion.

That said, what do you think of women being called up in the draft to serve in non-combatant jobs for the army? (I stress non-combatant since women are not yet allowed to serve in combat MOS').

I agree that due to the belief that women were weaker than men women could not vote, run for office, and get jobs in the past. However many feminists disagree that american men that time were more protective of women. For example never in history have women been included in the draft whereas males who were 18 and older were forced to go in vietnam and wars before that. Secondly the idea of executing a woman or charging and punishing a woman convicted of statutory rape was a taboo. Women defendants did not get the same kind of justice that male defendants did at that times and even now in the same.

Article from "Radio Free Europe": Self-Immolation By Women In Herat Continues At Alarming Rate: http://www.rferl.org/featuresarticle/2005/02/f287f1fb-4a6e-4a65-bf1c-d2d48e7e9a6f.html

Why is this happening? According to RFE: "Self-immolation by women in the western Afghan province of Herat continues to alarm officials and aid workers more than a year after a delegation from Kabul investigated the trend. The delegation determined that within just a few months, at least 52 women in the province had burned themselves to death -- often to escape an abusive marriage. Afghan doctors & officials say at least 184 woman brought to Herat's regional hospital are thought to have set themselves on fire during the past year -- and more than 60 have died as a result. The real number of self-immolation suicides & attempted suicides is likely to be even higher because only those brought to a hospital are being registered. Many Afghan institutions have little info about the rights of women."

Check out the Sydney Morning Herald's article about the arrest of a second cyber-feminist in Iran: http://www.smh.com.au/news/Technology/Parisbased-media-advocacy-group-slams-Iran-for-arrest-of-secondcyberfeminist/2007/12/06/1196812858000.html

What happened? "Iran has jailed a second feminist within two weeks, the media advocacy group Reporters Without Borders said, condemning the arrests and demanding the women's release. Iranian feminist Internet writer Jelveh Javaheri, who set up a website called We-Change that has been campaigning for women's rights in the Persian nation since 2005, was arrested this week in Tehran when she responded to a court summons.

"Javaheri is the second cyber-feminist to be arrested in two weeks on utterly vague charges," the press freedom organisation, known by its French initials RSF, said in a statement made available to the AP. "By harassing feminist activists, the regime wants to put a stop to these news and information websites".

Obviously such marriages pose big challenge to our legal and tax systems. But if there was a way to work around that why shouldn't consenting adults be able to get married in a polygynous and polyandrous relationships? Say there are two men and a woman and they all love each other and are content to play tag team for the rest of their lives, or there is a man that can make two women happy and they are all happily in love. If they want to validate their relationship in whatever way they seek, I think they should be able to do that as long as they are all consenting adults. What say you?
