Men will refuse to join the military for the next 200+ years, as men now want equality -- just as feminists supposedly want. So now the fems can die in the front line.

How many milliseconds will pass before the enemy is victorious?

Assuming that the cold war between men and women escalates, you may have a valid point. It's possible that men, including frontline soldiers, may come to regard their over-privileged countrywomen as the de facto enemy, the true oppressors; hence rebellion in the ranks... Something comparable to your scenario happened in the Vietnam War: black soldiers often mutinied, as they came to consider their white compatriots more of an enemy than the Vietcong. Now if the mutual hostility between the sexes reaches the same point, military defeat will be the least of our problems. What'll we'll have is Revolution, the outright civil war that we narrowly avoided around 1970. A bleak possibility! Thanks so much for it. --Carlos

Not all feminists hate men. Some are feminists simply because they want equal rights. But there are certainly those who join the group due to their own personal issues with men, rejection, bitterness or alienation. And there are those who become hateful and biased in the process, without even being aware of it. What is there to be gained by publicly acknowledging your hate, when you're pushing your agenda in the name of equality? That would make no sense. How many racist politicians publicly acknowledge their racist views while pushing for their agenda? Not many. The only time they do is when they "slip."

Everyone is ignoring the fact MEN 18 have to register for the draft and WOMEN ARE FORBIDDEN TO BY LAW

Yes, Government will NOT let a woman register.

It's a law.

It is something WOMEN by legal action, are banned from.

Yes, women ARE NOT ALLOWED by the male supermist governement to even throw their hat in the rings.

If you can ban women from one task, you can ban them from others.

That's called a LEGAL PRECEDENT

It shows POSITIVELY that in the US women are not and never will be 100% equal with men.

Thus women will continued to be held down and restricted from doing things based exclusively on their gender.

And this is entirely a GENDER based issue.

For those unfamiliar with it, this went all the way to the US Supreme Court who declined to hear the case and thus allowed the lower Federal Appleate court ruling deyning an 18 old girl the RIGHT to register for the Draft.

Thus, basically, is says femals have no EQUAL rights with men in the U.S.

That rights can be legislated based exclusively in gender.

Thumbs down it all you want, it's reality and if you hae a problem elect nothing but femminist women to government or stop chirping!

How does a voluntary military go about picking and choosing who they will or will not defend when defending a nation? They either do fight or they don't.

As for women being on the front lines, women HAVE tried to gain equality in the military, but its the military departments themselves who divide combat roles and exclude women from them. Any woman joining the armed forces cannot demand a change in DOD policy on her lonesome. You go in accepting the military's rules or you don't join.

As for men joining the military, they do so because they want to, not because some woman somehow "made" them join.

"If you really want to be this way, when have woman ever started a war."

British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, Falklands War 1982.

You can look up others on your own.

I doubt that men will stop joining the military. I don't see how joining the military has much to do w/ feminism, it's a personal choice [until it comes to the draft, which I'm against anyway]. And yes, I do believe in gender equality in the military.. Not necesarily equal outcome, but equal oppurtunity.

I'm anti-war anyways.

Since when are men defending women? I thought they (and women) were defending America from those evil Iraqis. (eye roll) Either way, we'd love it if women could participate in combat, but apparently we're the only ones who think so.

I have a problem with the military in general but I have no problem whatsoever with the fact that there needs to be gender equality within the military.

If you really think that feminists are the ones keeping women from combat roles you might want to do some research before making such unfounded and absolutely false assumptions...
